@ Demi - And here comes your hatred of anime shonen hero's again. If you're going to be like that, then please be polite about it.
@ Senpai - It's because it's one of the longest running manga's and one of the first mainstream ones. Bleach and Sailor moon also get this.

Dragon Ball doesn't do that bad either, classic is classic.
Anyway, I need for extra enemy in Gospel arc, not I.S., but anything that just as dangerous. Any ideas? I was thinking of ancient UFO derelict, to mimic the fight between Dendrobium and Aziel, or GN Arms vs Alvatore.

@ Box - Oh yes, because having your family murdered by your loving big brother when you're only 9 makes you emo when you grieve on it. The definition of emo is really being pushed. it's supposed to be Emo when:
1. Constantly whining about it. Sasuke never wangsts on it or go "You don't understand! No one understands!", and neither does Naruto for his crappy life. Hell, even Gaara doesn't angst, he just turns murderous. 2. When the problems aren't legitimate. Grieving for a dead loved one isn't bad. Do you call someone emo when they cry and get sad if their parents die and someone shoots their dog? @ Demi - I will if you do it. @ Senpai - Halfway done.

Basically IS frames without the IS core. Instead powered by the latest in conventional tech. though the functions are inferior to that of IS. It's also perfect to be huge because the equipment that simulates the core functions would be huge.
I just made up all that stuff on the spot @eras: as of now I'm just annoyed by the heat |

If IS could be powered by conventional tech, the series would make less sense. The whole point of the cores is to limit the number of IS' in the world. If they could be powered by anything else, then they wouldn't be OMFG SUPER MEGA ULTRA RARE! like they're treated as.

Indeed, by the point of the story, everything from I.S. is already reverse engineered near-perfectly. With the exception of one thing: the I.S. core itself.
By your idea, we will need a quantum computer the size of 20 inch TV, and fusion generator of the size of small fridge to provide similar output. By that point, you already create oversized unit that doesn't have the genuine I.S.' greatest asset: mobility. I.S. would still be kings of the battlefield. But at the least, it wouldn't be WK-level curbstomp anymore. In other words, a single I.S. against 1 billion advanced battleship is foolish unless the pilot is Mondo grosso calibre There's still a good reason of why I.S. is irreplaceable: the conventional technology ALWAYS one step behind them. as Age said, it's really an onesided dependence.

the most important function that cannot be copied which mkes IS so godly is the self evolving system. though all medua of IS glosses this over as if it was expected of every mecha
mobile armor version of IS tech. wthout the evolving system |
