Hey guys, ive been reading so far only the LN series of SAO

WEB chaps supposed to be created into the LN series or much like futuristic events, since ive been reading most of the awesome summaries u guys been making. Just really curious??

In previous part/s: Alice used the mana from within the valley to wipe out the vanguard of Dark Territory. Dark Territory retaliated by having the dark mages sacrificing 3,000 beastmen left in the vanguard for a curse spell to destroy the human army. Synthesis Twenty-six, the one with Frost Whip sacrificed himself to stop that curse from killing everyone.


In this part: Alice was enraged that her student was gone, and had his dragon plus her own use their flame breath on maximum power, plus her own Release Recollection, to wipe out the dark mages. D only survived by sacrificing two other mages to use as raw materials for her shield.
Alice declared herself in front of the Dark Territory army, naming herself also as the Priestess of Light. She did so to buy time for the human army to regroup. Gabriel saw Alice, thought she looked a lot like Alicia (his fiancee he killed) and ordered her to be captured. The entire army veered off towards her and ignored the gate into human territory.

Berculi hoped by decimating enough of the Dark Territory's main force, the dark knights and gladiators, they can push for peace. However with Vector and his overwhelming Incarnation power that seemed unlikely. Alice herself felt Vector's Incarnation ability was on par with Administrator's, though if Administrator felt like silver lightning then his was a endless void. She could feel his gaze on her even as she declared herself.

Gladiators have almost reached the human army. Their body are built to be tougher than steel and invulnerable to sword slashes and stabs, and their punches can crush any armour. Alice and Berculi can't use their Release Recollection much more, their swords are tired from all the usage (Berculi shot down hundreds of gargoyle Drones in previous part/s). Synthesis Twelve volunteered to hold off the incoming attackers.

I'll skip Synthesis Twelve's backstory and her fight scenes (this takes up a sizable chuck of this part). She basically have a dimension-cutting blade, and fought with the Gladiator leader evenly against his Incarnation abilities (Called 'Overdrive', Incarnation skills that affect the internal self rather than the external world), buying enough time for humans to regroup. The two left with a draw, each had to go elsewhere to fight.

Gabriel's lieutenant led a hundred dark knights in light armour in sneak attack towards the human army, seeing the Dark Territory forces can't do this right. Teiza and Ronie was defeated and was almost executed, before Asuna descended from the skies with the goddess account. The hundred knights are swallowed up by the earth or destroyed by a barrage of light beams that rained down upon them. (For some reason Gabriel's Lieutenant recognized Asuna as 'the Flash', I have no idea why...)

Does it say why Asuna entered? Was it because they knew about the war in UW or cause of Kirito?

Most likely for Kirito. The war second priority for Asuna's case.

The original Sword Art Online was the WEB chapters, yes. After Kawahara won the LN competition by writing Accel World, he was asked to take down the WEB chaps in exchange for republishing SAO as LN form and as anime.

So far, the WEBs have been reproduced in the LNs with 99% faith. I didn't actually read it, and this is a big assumption, but there has been little to no furore over any changes from WEBs to LN/anime. If there are any.

The changes so far were mainly the removal of 16.5, because kids can buy the LN too, remember. And in Alicization, LN's V11 now, the WEBs put it as a

repeated rape scene of Ronie and Tieza, Kirito and Eugeo's valets.

while the LNs retconned this into a

severe case of attempted rape and molestation.

The main change many are expecting is how Alicization is closed. Kawahara finished writing by the time he was asked to republish, but chapters 7 and 8 are so long, he could use some professional editing. Also, his battle scenes were pretty bad, IMO. A rewrite should do it more good. Not to mention that he might insert some side stories in chronologically.

Furthermore the rewrite also allows him to go back and clean up any mistakes he made.

At this point, the vast majority of us are all hanging onto the English translation of V11 at Baka Tsuki, while the lucky minority who have the WEBs in original Japanese or can read the Chinese translations are giving out the spoilers. Pat Flere on the back, please.

If you've read all the spoilers, congratulations! Now you're on the same page as all of us and none of us have much of a clue on where to go on.

We're basically sitting back and waiting for V11 to confirm V12's content or for the Chinese translatiors to finish WEBs chapter 8.

He did finish Alicization. It's the WEB story arc 'Cradle of the Moon', based on when Kirito and Asuna was still in UW, written after Alicization that was never finished. Think of this as the equivalent of 'Murder Case in the Area' written after SAO Vol1, but for Alicization instead of SAO game.

The series ended with Kirito getting his brain fixed, Alice was taken out of UW for reasons not yet translated, and him + Asuna left UW after staying in UW for 200 inside-years making sure the place doesn't destroy itself. CotM details a event that happened after the war between Dark Territory and Human Kingdom (WEB 8 plot) ended, when the series have progressed from that.

WHY he called her that, is obvious. HOW he got the information that she was known by that alias in SAO, is the question. Probably a survivor of SAO, is the more likely reason.
