Ore no Imouto and Railgun ...

Wait what?! I've never been as disappointed in an anime season than I am to the upcoming spring season. Usually, there are at least 6+ shows I follow weekly, sometimes much more. Now reading the description on each anime I .. I really don't know what to say. So much crappy generic upcoming anime .. They really must have ran out of ideas. Imouto and Railgun are the only ones I'm likely to watch unless some anime surprises me despite it's crappy description on the chart.

Some of the others will probably be tried first.
Agreed hope she has more air time =D.

Gona give Valvrave the Liberator, Devil Survivor 2, and To aura no railgun S a try.

I love DBZ so will be watching the movie.

WHERE THE HELL IS cyborg 009 recyborg it was supposed to be out this season.

Shingeki no Kyojin is a definite watch I watched the trailer 20 wait watching it now 22 times already. I even deprived myself of reading the manga because I knew the trailer would be fucking epic and useing immmediate music who I freaking love in the trailer, And immediate musics darkeness on the trailer for added bonus love to work out to that song.

I liked both seasons of index but both seasons of railgun were droped last time hopefully this one will be better and not just villain of the weak central.

Dist did you even watch this http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=yoDPuA718FU

Finally, I've compiled my list of shows to watch for the spring season coming up next week.

A few choices were a given, but it took me to use critical thinking on others after comparing them with other series that I felt hold potential. Due that this season, which is almost gone, I only picked up two series, then this time around I'm compensating the numbers my taking eight titles to watch.

More sequels coming-up
1. Hayate no Gotoku! Cuties. Comedy. You bet it that I won't be kissing good-bye to the debt-ridden, butler franchise.

2. Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Outbreak. Horror, Mystery. After six years of supernatural comedy, OVA releases the Higurashi franchise is taken back to its dark roots. I hope that 'Outbreak' lives up to or exceeds the psychological insanity which permeated the first series and the Kai series.

It's the season for sci-fi and fantasy
1. Suisei no Gargantia. Sci-Fi mecha, War. From what I understood by reading the premise the protagonist is taken from a universe scarred by war into a forgotten universe where peace relatively governs everyday life. At the surface, it looks like they are reversing the war theme tropes.

2. Kakumeiki Valvrave. Sci-Fi mecha, War. The second mecha show in the top for this season. More reasons to watch this is due that Sunrise is behind both production and animation.

3. Date A Live. Sci-Fi fantasy, Romantic comedy. This was my first tough decision to take, because I chose to make my mind only for three picks in the mecha genre of this season and there was left only one spot to fill. My selection gravitated between this title and Ginga Kikoutai Majestic Prince. However, seeing that most of the sci-fi shows that I picked have a bit of a gloomy trope due to the war theme, then I made my choice for Date A Live at the end. This was due that this anime feels refreshing introducing loli-girl characters trying to destroy the world, and only the protagonist boy can save it by making the bad lolis falling in love with him.

4. Karneval. Sci-Fi fantasy, Mystery. This one became my very first definitive pick-up of the season due that its premise has a few Pandora Hearts' vibes within it.

5. Shingeki no Kyoujin. Action fantasy, Horror. If the Giants featured in this anime are as brutal, vicious, and rampaging or even more than the BETA aliens are in Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse, as I read from the premise, then I'm completely sold for this one. In addition, seriously I need to come across with, at least, one horror title to rewatch for this year's Halloween season.

6. Hataraku Maou-sama! Comedy, Fantasy. The premise says it all. Hopefully, it will turn into a worthy competitor or even better than Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou.

I'm not ruling out the possibility But atm it's not a must watch yet.

Oh right, just for shits and giggles, I want to try and find the Japanese Dub for MLP as well So that would make it 19 possible shows this Spring.

You say this like the synopsis for OreNo and Railgun don't come across as crappy generic anime as well.

Yes late night, but this isn't it's airing date- I was basing it on the next day when I get to watch it... Assuming everything is on time.

My timezone is just one hour behind Japan after all.

These are all the animes I'm giving a shot:

-Aku no Hana
-Date A Live
-Devil Survivor 2 the Animation
-Ginga Kikoutai Majestic Prince
-Haiyore! Nyaruko-san W (didn't watch the first season but it got so much praise I feel like I should watch this)
-Hyakka Ryouran Samurai Bride (more of an obligation than actual interest honestly)
-Kakumeiki Valvrave (I want this to be good...but the last time Sunrise did a 13 episode anime it didn't work out so well...)
-Photo Kano
-Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai. (FINALLY)
-Shingeki no Kyojin
-Space Battleship Yamato 2199 (didn't watch the OVAs so this will be new for me)
-Suisei no Gargantia
-Toaru Kagaku no Railgun S (FINALLY #2)
-Yahari Ore no Seishun Rabukome wa Machigatteiru.

And of those Railgun, Oreimo, Kyoujin, and Yamato are the only guaranteed follows, though I have a feeling a lot may survive for once. This is definitely my longest list of potential shows since Spring of '11. I like how many sci-fi and mechs there are this season, been a while since we've had this many air at one time. I have a feeling that Gargantia and Valvrave may end up falling short of expectations though. Still, lots of potential this season.

They have quite a strong cast of seiyuus doing the voice work...

MLP is a childrens show. The older version in the 80s was even more so a little girl's show. The new version has better humor and I suppose stories so that is appeals to teens and older people (I suppose in a way like the 1990s Animaniacs, though I am not certain of that since I don't actually watch this show).

Tomodachi wa Mahou is basically the North American version of Precure without as much monster of the week.
