So whats everyone's thoughts on this new KOF?

Me I like the new sprites very fluid, now I'm just waiting so see if we have actual combos in this or not.

I'm more interested to see who is in it. Though it does look like the combat has been sped up a lot from previous games. I'm also glad to see it's back in 2D still and let's hope SNK never dubs the characters voices EVER again.

I can't wait for this game. This is just how I wanted hi-res versions of SF and KOF to be like.

I don't see it as competition but as complementary fighters.

On the extreme side of the spectrum, there are Street Fighter and its emphasis on footsies, poking and trapping, then there are the Guilty Gear-like that are combo heavy, then there are KoF that is in-between.

Hold on....why does Iori still have his Orochi flames in the demo? Didn't Ash steal it from him in KOF XI?

I looks even better in high res but I hope they do more with it like actually add combos.

My favourite installment in the KOF series so far is '02. Didn't play a whole lot of XI 'cuz something just didn't feel right about it. Nonetheless, it's hard not to look forward to a KOF game.

That's from KOFXI, they're only using it in this video to show the comparison between XI and XII.
