Hi, I'm Kmos. I was in and out of manga/anime awhile back, now on a pretty big 3 year binge taking it all in again.

Hello all. I've lurked for years, signed up today.

After reading others' hellos, I feel I should give a little information. I have been into anime manga/manhwa since the early '90's. I blame this completely on my friend, Missy, who made me sit down and watch all 52 episodes of Fushigi Yugi with a box of Kleenex while simultaneously providing grilled provolone, ham and rye sandwiches.

I have never been the same and that is probably a loss the anime community has had to contend with. I have made AMV's over the years, some good.... some, well, they were dirt bombs, let's just say.

Anywho, I live in Indiana (US). Lots of corn, lots of cows.

Hello to everyone,

I'm from Germany (Westphalia to be more specific) and I hope everyone understands my English ;-) I hope I'll have more time in the near future to learn Japanese which is one of my highest ambitions and a dream would come true for me.

I really like anime, especially the dark and mysterious ones, for example Higurashi which is my favourite (this story attracts me so much that sometimes I'd like to live in it even if it's dangerous ...), but I love Elfenlied and Clannad as well. I think I'll watch Madoka Magica next.

Thanks a lot to everyone who built this discussion board and who contribute to it, I learnt some valuable things about Higurashi already, but of course I will also look into other threads as well.
