I bet Nolan's being careful to keep any character details under wraps... I have to admit that I can't wait till more details are revealed, however! Vehicles are cool but I'm far more interested in the characters.

Nolan isn't going to pull a 180 and not make the final film deviate from what the first two were (and what made it successful), which was the characterization. I'm not sure what people want to see at this stage in terms of characterization or "more heroes" (isn't Batman the only true hero anyways)?

Since this movie won't be in 3D, I doubt it will break any records. Not that I fond of 3D, It’s quite the opposite. I hate how that gimmick force the audience to pay twice the normal ticket price. I’m glad there are still sane directors out there who see 3D as nothing but a way for studios to milk their audience to the limit. Both Nolan and his cinematographer hate 3D and choose IMAX instead. I couldn’t agree with them more. It’s just, it’ll be sad if a (supposedly) good summer movie like this got beaten by the likes of Transformers 3 in box office earnings due to the overpriced 3D tickets.

Perscripton 3D glasses would be the answer to that, but they would have to have a universal standard for all films...plus make the glasses practical, or just a setting of sorts of the polarizing lenses.

Agreeing about the 3D, I can't stand it since I wear glasses as well and it's very rare for them to use it effectively, it seems... I feel like 3D's better suited to animations >.> Anyway, it's fantastic that Nolan decided to stick to IMAX and what he wants to do for TDKR!
The car's Bruce's, it's actually a Lamborghini! Since he crashed his in TDK Apparently Nolan wanted a black one but they could only get a hold of a grey. I think it looks pretty awesome, still. There's also been a cloaked figure spotted on the set and it seems like people are speculating that it's Ra's... I'm also pretty excited about the movie taking place in the winter with so much snow, for some reason (there was a scene being filmed with Bruce and Gordon on an icy platform) - it would be much harder for Batman to blend in and lurk around like he does.
