So... does that mean Satoshi is just bleeding to death in heavenly host then :-o. I'd like if they made a proper series that went into more depth and allowed you to absorb the horror of the situation more mwahahaha. See more of the Byakuden students as well would be great.

As explained by Marina2, Using the other person's one (Especially from the wrong paper doll.) has a chance of the person either get back safely, or halfway through... "You-know-what"

Episode 1 I thought was okay. A good adaptation of Chapter 1 of the game. However, the plot gets changed from Episode 2 onwards. Not to say that it didn't make sense, but the plot was going at superspeed. It was kind of disconcerting to hear Sugita-sensei as Kizami. (I'm more used to his 'gentleman ghost' character

Episodes 3 & 4 however...

DAT ENDING. I know it's called Tortured Souls for a reason, but it's too much for me, even with Corpse Party's premise. Thank goodness it's not canon.

I just kinda wish they went with a 1 season anime instead, and adapted the main game's story (with some corrections to the plot where needed). This just wasn't enough to make anyone feel for the characters if they haven't played the game. (Which is why they were OVAs, I guess.)

They couldn't show all this blood and gore on TV. So OVAs is the best choice but yeah, too bad they cramped the story in 4 eps. More would be better. But I still liked it a lot.

There wasn't anything left when they all disappeared in that light to get out of heavenly host.
