Well, blind musicians in action manga/anime series are usually the more powerful ones, as they are literally not distracted by what they see. Everything is through their senses.

After some thought, I decided to pick up this manga and started reading it. So far I'm upto the festival and will continue for the next several days until I reach the current arc. The series, filled with funny and ecchi moments and some intense action, is alright and I think I'll continue reading it 'till the end.



EDIT: Finally caught up to the current story.

Off-topic: I wonder how many Pactio's Negi will have by the end of the school year. I think he'll have ~17.

Probably not even trying yet. He didn't make it seem like a big deal against Evangeline either, even though she probably is easily stronger than him. Negi'd probably have to reach untested lengths if Fate ever took it serious.

It seems that Negi may really have to get creative with his magic. Fate seems familiar with Magia Erebea, and pretty unimpressed. Negi may have gotten a hit in, but Fate isn't really trying, let alone "powering up." Now I really want to see Negi go the distance and combine light with dark.

Also, if anything needs to be animated or turned into a CD drama, it's Fate's laugh. His expression and Asuna's reaction was pretty funny.

Fate's laugh is creepy. CREEPY.

I was really hoping for development on the Yue side of things... Especially since I suspect her crew is heading towards the place where Nodoka and co. are. Nodoka, more than anyone else, should be the key that unlocks Yue's memories.

We didn't see Rakan this time either, but we didn't really need to, I don't think. I have no doubt that he's going to kick those two girls' butts. Or at least strip them some more. If he could be beaten by something as simple as a reality marble type trick, he wouldn't be as infamous as he is.

Negi vs Fate... Negi's holding up better, but I'm betting he's STILL out of his league. Perhaps if Asuna could wipe out Fate's barrier and THEN Negi got him with a magia erebia charged punch... But at least Negi got a blow in. I hope it hurts.

In a sense, he's already doing that. The dark path is that of the loner fighting on his own, which Negi is trying to do with Magia Erebia. The light path is that of the group fighter, he who works with friends and allies to achieve his goals. Negi's obviously working with his partners while using Magia Erebia, so in a sense he's already doing the dark/light combo. I'll bet we'll see some special Light magic before this is all over as well, though. Negi obviously isn't ready to face Fate at his full power just yet. Not by a long shot.
