I think, D-KLAC, your obsession with the CE has taken otaku (bad otaku sense) levels... I am pretty sure you must have been reading all those posts going against you in some way. It's OK to be a fan, but something must be seriously wrong with you if you think of an anime fan life as a career...I haven't actually met any UC fan who behaves like you do as of yet. Now, of course, since this thread is about the supposed 3rd GS series, I suggest we all go back to that same topic before any of the mods think that this thread has become a thread filled with posts about being "serious about GS" and "feelings" and how you think that "you will save GS for all time".

I know one thing though, and that is that I don´t believe in the rumours about the movie having its premiere in May. The rumours itself may be true but I don´t think it will be finished in time. Something that also would explain why it´s so damn silent about a Gundam movie. Especially considering that SEED indeed do have a fairly big fanbase and as far as I know the DVD-sells were/are good.

I love SEED series and I'm looking forward to the movie. I just hope the plot won't be as disappointing as the one in Destiny.

I just finished watching Special Edition of Destiny and I got to one personal conclusion... I, as a SEED fanboy, would prefer it much more to be released as those OVAs, not the entire tiring 50-episode series

aeriolewinters: I had to admit, Gundam 00 is really good. It's more realistic. promote something when the company still has a younger product to endorse.

And heck, My-Otome is 100x better than SEED Destiny. Period.

If it were released as OVAs, as OVAs usually don't comprise of a lot of editions, it would probably harder to squeeze the entire story with just that. Some characters would be also left out of "development" in a sense, or the OVAs could create loopholes which could be addressed if it were in a series with a lot of episodes. The time constraint could be devastating for writers, even if the anime made into an OVA has had about some years dedicated to its creation. It's not easy trying to tell a whole story packed into just a series of compilations...>.>;;

i would like a season 3 and even a season 4...but thats seems unlikely...if only GSD surpassed GS, but it didnt
the movie coming out this year should be interesting....if they make a gazillion from the movie then a season 3 would be possibility

anyways i'm looking forward to the movie and hope they put some serious closure for athrun and cagalli's relationship, at this point i dont care if they are together or not but make it more clear (why is athran an admiral in orb, what reason does he need to stay in orb...all answers point to -> athrun still have a thing for cagalli), their relationship is too ambiguous and it's making my back itch....well, seems like most of the other romance is set in stone so nothing else left to complain about ...

ps GS and GSD is one of the greatest war drama romance anime to date



Gundam Seed Eternity was 1st name of the rumor 3 rd season i read...lets hope the movie make so much freaking dough for the producers that they will invest in an enjoyable 3rd season for us....

Anyways, nothing will save the franchise but pushing the fast forward button.

We need to pull out of the Kira Lacus Athrun era and start on when Terminal/CF gets corrupted.

And we need a new junk guy that would be CE's Judau

As of now, the movie is at the discretion of Sunrise. If they find that there are other things worth focusing their attention on, then we can't do anything about it.
