The last Dandy have it so bad. It's already a pain for him. And now he saw that some of his parallel himselves got to travel with a babe. He's so going to kill himself.

Doesn't even feel like a second season.

Well this feels like the Space Dandy I know; creative, fun and all around awesome. In many ways I can't really believe that this anime can be so much creative with the budget they've got. It's kinda funny what I believed could have been a big huge arc for the show instead only took one episode and is really not big of a fuss, but whatever that's Space Dandy for you. The multiple Dandys were hilarious (especially the emo one) and voice acting sub had a huge wide range of different voice actors for all of them that I won't be able to list them all. Anyway I'm hoping for more creative and enjoyable episodes for the 2nd season and I reckon this one won't disappoint me.

Gawd, I love this show. It's about the only show I truly enjoyed over the last few seasons. So glad to see it back. Hell, I even like the dub.

So criminally underappreciated, this show. So much imagination and cultural literacy crammed into every episode.

Oh man,how I missed this show, and to think that I initially thought I'd never like something like this. I had a few episodes last season that were misses, but most were hits. This was another strong premiere and this summer is turning out to be better than spring.

I can't believe I missed the toonami broadcast for the season premiere. Damn. 12:30 AM. Why did they have to shift the time by an hour...

On another note, watching this episode made me feel like it never ended. The trippyness. The emo Dandy. The alternate Dr. Gel. Ahh, I'm glad this series is finally back.

It's because Toonami wants to ensure a big audience for Attack on Titan (not to mention wanting to keep Bleach at its midnight time slot during its final months of the dub).

I know. Screw Attack on Titan. Luckily, I get to watch it today since I found out about it.

This was quite the trippy episode from the smile afficianado to the whole River of Time sequence was just too much fun. I did feel sorry for our smile afficianado at the end, but it was kinda nice what Dandy did for him in the end.

Seeing Dandy surfing again was a great treat. Not to mention that we get to see a really nice side to Dr. Gel.

A good episode. Man...it feels great watching this show on Toonami again.

Holy crap next episode's preview was...trippy as usual...but still...

Pretty photo. But I can't say the same for the weird alien during the latest episode. The OST was awesome as always.

Poor QT and Meow as well ;_;

The English VA for that weird puppet alien is Bryce Papenbrook, who is also voicing Eren Jaeger in AoT. It was a really strange episode, but got to laugh at Dr. Gel meeting his mamon in the river then getting slapped for being a pervert.

More weird episodes from this show. I like how they end up being tinged with a good deal of sentimentality too. Masaaki Yuasa episode next week.

But don't worry Ukeleleman. All you needed to do was watch the HxH opening to smile again..... Or not.

Is that from the episode where the Ukeleleman shows up?

Now that I have the satisfaction of knowing Space Dandy punches Eren Jaeger in the face, the show becomes better.

Once again Space Dandy delivers a very bizarre episode but this time more of the creepy and serious side. This still had the usual comedy elements that Space Dandy has but it's very sparse. Instead this episode is about Ukeleleman (voiced by Furukawa Toshio) a voodoo doll thing that collects smiles literally. By the end things get more complicated with the River of Time and by the end he ends up in flames smiling but didn't even notice. This is a strange episode even for Space Dandy standards (it's even more strange that this is before the Masaaki Yuasa episode) but that doesn't mean it was bad. In fact I would say it was one of the better episodes. The ending was certainly strange but then again that just how Dandy rolls. Animation was very crisp and good. The music is as always brilliant and makes me really want to buy the soundtrack. This season is off to a stronger start then the first one and if it can continue like this I reckon will have a better 2nd half. Next week is the Masaaki Yuasa episode we've all been waiting (well I've been waiting for) so expect some crazy surreal animation.

Planet Pushy Boyfriend and Planet Girlfriend. Ha. I get it.

This episode hit a trippy start from the very beginning. Seriously, I haven't seen the animation this free-flowing since the episode with the sentient plants.

Honestly, I'm not sure what to make of the episode. It had me laughing at times but I have to love that the second half of the episode was a commentary on how greed and materialism can destroy lives...I think...

I need to think for a bit on this.

Seriously, how many times Dr. Gel and Bea have to capture Dandy but instead keep dying in the process? Anyway the episode was on the weird side but I have to agree with Dandy about Meow being a cat. Even ate the alien fish in the end.
