Nothing wrong with the story - pacing may be slightly slow for my taste but I guess this arc was long (I haven't read the novel yet so I've no idea the length of this arc compare to the Remnant one)

The animation...sigh, the art is just bad...characters look weird and different at times...

To give you some perspective, Remnant was one thin book. while Daihaiseisai covers two whole volumes.

Toumas making me sad, hes been going bad ass serious face mode like 3 times now and usually when he does that he does some epic fight. Now all we have is fail after fail and friends getting owned left and right.

What im hoping to see is Touma runs past misaka index and shirai and they try to stop him he yells gets all srs and they see a new side of him. Would be awesome to see their reactions to his ftw side lol.

This is the first arc where people that he cares about gets caught up in this mess and hurt, while there was nothing he could do about it.

damn...this is probably the most traumatic arc so far for Touma.

Usually he saves the girl, and everyone is happy.
So far, he had no choice but to stand by and discover/see people he know get seriously injured.

Himegami, noooO!!!!!
I think the pool of blood was a little excessive. I mean, she probably survive, I doubt they kill anyone off. But damn, with that amount of blood, she should be instantly dead now. >_<

Also, I understand Index's "Walking Church" is pretty high.
But what's the hierarchy of the crosses revealed so far?

I liked Misaka's ThunderPunch.

Super perfect! 10/10!

Many surprises this episode:

- Finally Touma and Himegami! The ones that should really be together!

- Tsuchimikado mentioning his magic name and going all out! As thought he is strong! (considering effects of being an esper as well that limits his magic powers)

- Shelly again? I thought they put her in a jail or something! Now she is is babysitting Orsola!

- Himegami beng injured, the "zetsubo" soundtrack again, Komoe trying to heal Himegami through magic, it was all so touching.

I hope like Tsuchimikado that Kanzaki appears! She needs to make Oriana into shreds with her Nanasen.

So far, the St Peter's Cross is one of the greatest treasure of the Rome Catholic Church. I can understand why they wouldn't want to bring it out of their vault cause they wouldn't want to risk losing it.

Ah I had almost forgotten about Sherry Cromwell.

As it turns out aside from a golem user, she was one of Necessarius top decoders as well. So yeah both her and Ursula would have lots of fun times together.

One might say it's a worse punishment for her, heh.

P.S - that scene where Stiyl text to Touma the information about the Cross was probably the direct Italian text that Ursula had sent him

I don't know how common of an urban legend it is, but I once read about it in an interview with an ex-AV actress who recounted some of her middle/high school memories (which would've been during the early to mid 90s). Apparently, it was locker room talk among girls.

I'm loving this arc, actually. Not sure why people are comparing it to Deep Blood, I'm not getting the same "bored off my ass" feel I got back then.

This ep:
+Touma failing a lot
+Mikoto jealousy
+Himegami is useful (I momentarily feared they would kill her off, if only for a second)
+Komoe is useful, and showing her mad magician skillz
+Bluff FTW.... I'm a sucker for a well done bluff
And,
++Styl has to buy a train ticket... I'm surprised, for all his preparation, he went to a Japanese city with the intention of chasing an elusive target and didn't think to get an appropriate train pass? For shame!

Saturn Beaver Home of Silent Prayer Join Date: Mar 2010	Spoiler for Ep 11: - Is it bad if the greatest laughs I had was when I saw Kuroko falling down from her wheelchair? - Seeing Stiyl and Komoe-sensei side by side like that, even after all this time I still find it mind-boggling that contrary to their physical appearance, if they were to sleep together, Stiyl is the one who's a minor and Komoe is the one to be arrested. - I suppose the Tsuchimikado vs Oriana fight is pretty cool, but with her outfit I find it extremely difficult to concentrate. So that what 'vertical slits' really mean, huh? That much more daring than what I had in mind. Her poses aren't helping either... - Trollingmikado succesfully tricked someone again. Seriously, aside from Oriana we also get a Saint (Kaori) and an Archbishop being trolled by this guy, not to mention being a multiple agent for both the magic and science side. - Poor Himegami, the one time she got more screentime she's injured like that. Still, isn't that too much blood? I mean, I know it's supposed to be bloody and gruesome, but that's simply too much blood from a human, that thing's Zoro level...well, anime is anime I guess. I really hope when all is over she'll get her night parade, and hopefully more. Moral of the episode: Wet T-shirt could bloody kill you. __________________
