(L) Kaze no Stigma

This Episode was enjoyable hope to see Ren fight with a little more conviction.

I conclude that Kazuma will disrupt the ceremony and the Behemoth will come. Then Kazuma will have to go crazy and kill it

Well this is Ren we're looking at. Just doesn't have the tough past of Kazuma to be like his brother in that respect. So the last couple episodes end up being a bit normal for the genre.

Though I don't think we're hitting 'save everyone.' Kazuma certainly doesn't care about saving everyone in his plan to stop the taisai right when the hopes are highest. Yuuji and Mayumi don't care about killing Ayumi if it saves Mayumi from her fate. Clare doesn't care about killing her sister, long as the ritual takes place. Ayumi is willing to die for the sake of others, so everyone else I guess other than her will be saved. Ren is a young kid so of course he doesn't want anyone to die, so he's probably the only member qualifying for that.

not really...ren is only trying to protect ayumi and doesnt give a dam if fuji erupted while kazuma just wants to go on a killing spree...plot twists FTW! ^.^

I got the idea that all isnt as it seems in episode 10.

Did anybody else think that the Older sister(forgot her name) looked a lot like the ancestor that supposedly stopped Mount Fuiji 300 years ago? Also her power isn't normal.. I dont think she has a contract with the Earth Spirit though. My guess is that the Taiji(sp?) isn't actually designed to stop Mount Fuiji.. its actually trap and give Earth power to the Older Sister.. hence her abnormal power. It could also be that this sacrifice is all to keep the Earth power for the Family, but I kind of doubt it. All I know for sure is the the Older sister(dang I wish I could remember her name) is EVIL!! Its a subtle evil too.. its not glaring like the enemy were in the other episodes.

Maybe he really likes the coat. At least he'll have something that she wore for a while close to him. Kind've like keeping a piece of her close to him at all times. A lot of talk about her scent, I'm pretty sure his sense of smell isn't that powerful. Considering the characters have a lot of the same outfits. Maybe this is just another coat. He'll be keeping the important one in a secure location.

At least I can be certain that Clare/Kureha is up to something for a better word evil. It would be interesting if she was going to use the power gained from Ayumi and Mayumi instead of strengthening the seal giving herself power. Not sure if that's even possible but it would be a problem if she could pull it off. Being able to locate and drag Kazuma down from the sky, turning someone into a golem in the preview, is going beyond the norm. Next week we should find out what she's really up to since there is too much we don't know about what she is up to.

Nah, the last two episodes didn't suck hard. I don't like anime that only concentrates on two characters, so Ren's character development seems quite fitting to me. Besides, the "I love you I hate you I'm ignoring you" thing is quite boring already. This is the intermission that Kaze no Stigma needs. I hope Ren will take part in future episodes as well.

Even when I over-analyse the last two episodes, I still found them rather boring. Especially since they're starting to translate the manga now, the last two episodes sucked hard compared to that.

Oh I know Kazuma cares about people and has a kind side. But I do think there is a part of him that after all he's been through has no problem getting into a fight and hurting people who do things like sacrificing. Really he hasn't been around people he cares about much. Not that Tiana the "bug" isn't good company...

Looking around at another character like Ren doesn't hurt for the short term. I wouldn't want him as the main character all the time but he's got a role to play in the story and this experience will be good for his character development. We'll get more KazumaxAyano next week most likely and that will be an important part of the show as they keep going.

Just finished reading the scanlated Manga/Light Novel of volume 1.

Kazuma is really more creepy and sadistic than the anime.
He touched Ayano's butt and tried to kissed her without hesitation^^xD.
So he is more ecchi/hentai in the manga.

Hope the anime will head towards this direction, hehe
