Hmm, that would explain while when browsing AnimeNation (shop/forums etc) site, I used
to get different anime in the top part, but it's all Guu now... (which made me suspicious)

Anyway... more than sufficiently official for me... I'm of to the Staff Control Panel to make the changes needed.

Interesting name change. Also note: the AnimeNation banner was clickable. DOH!

They haven't said anything about Final.... I know I'm selfish, but I'm desparate to see Final before THAT gets licensed. I might have to resort to watching raws. Which I won't understand because Haleandguuseemtospeaksofastandhecksodoeseverybodye lseit'simpossible!

The kid being named "Hale" is a metrological pun, right? His brother is named Ame (rain) in episode 6 of Deluxe.

Well, they kinda messed that up. Oh, well.

I'm in Heaven now. I've been holding off seeing Guu until it was licensed, I want to buy the DVDs and enjoy it that way.

And about the title, I think the original is a bit of a reference to weather forecasts... "The jungle is going to be fine until Guu comes along" kind of. And about (It's supposed to be a spoiler, man! SPOILER!)

I'd wonder how the VAs for this anime are going to handle it, part of the humour is how incredibly fast Hale rattles off at. ^_^ And there are also soooo many Japanese references... even baseball ones... and... gah

Final only just finished up here a few weeks ago. I wouldn't be surprised if negociations on it have only barely started. Give it a while, I'm sure it'll be licensed.

I'm happy ANE got Guu instead of other groups (Could you imagine what would happen if Guu was lisenced by Bandai? Ugh!). It sounds like they're changing the title, though. Haré + Guu is nearly as fun to as as Jungle wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu.

I was so happy to see this news!! AN Entertaiment says on their site dvds will be released and stuff in 2005 and I will have trouble waiting that long for guu!! lol
