Well, first, I never used git, I don't know anything about it...
I need a patch because in my package all modifications to the original sources are in independent patches which are automatically applied by the debian scripts just before compiling mplayer (and removed when cleaning). So I can't just copy directories... |

all ASS styles used must be present in all files or it won't work (actually the entire ASS header should be identical but you can usually get away with just keeping the same playresx/playresy and the same styles). note how the wrong font is used in the first screenshot.

Ok, so I picked up Ayako's release of Valkyria Chronicles, and the ordered chapters they set up don't work for me. I have the op and ed and put them in the same folder as the episodes themselves. Still, when I play the epidode it doesn't connect to the op/ed properly. Instead there is two minutes of showtime instead of showing the proper op/ed. Help

I followed the mini-howto and it works but the video(not the sound) gets laggy when it plays one of the segmented files (not the one I opened).
I have updated all the related programs and is still doing the same. I couldn't find help on google so I'm asking here. Thanks in advance. |

Ah, I have a question. After finally getting the ordered chapters playing correctly on KMplayer, I was wondering how the ordered chapters would fair during video converting. Sometimes, I convert episodes to be viewed on other systems and do have a working MKV converter with hard sub capability.
Will the OP and ED appear as per normal in the converted video or must I do something to get it right? The idea is fantastic and I understand its benefits, though being slightly inconvenient for certain end users. Thanks! (^.^) |

I don't think there's an easy way to do that without appending the OP & ED to the file, but if you're converting the episodes for a device with limited storage capacity it's probably a better idea to leave them out anyway -v-

I was wondering if there is some kind of tutorial to help some of us tech-challenged users apply the patch to Mplayer OSX. I've been struggling for hours trying to figure out how to get this to work properly, even with other diff and patch tutorials
