Finally read 233 and 234, great chapters IMO, loved Yuki's story. I thought Inaba was going to be serious for a second there, then well... shes Inaba.

This can mean Harima's character is still developing, but slower than before. Unlike Eri who's character matured. Ironic that Harima is a better lead than the main lead really, no offense Tenma fans, but that's my IMHO. Hope all the sub characters get a boost like that once in a while too. Iam starting to like Yakumo's group the 1-D girls

This chapter is about more than just Tenma and Eri(though the dialog from the Summary focused on it). The group confronted Eri about it after Tenma mentioned it though =D. This chapter mainly talked about all the recent happenings from all the girls(after Suou tried to get everyone to talk about some cheerful events).
Tenma talked about her and Karasuma and is very happy. Then she becomes depressed when she remembered he is moving. Eri talks about the many events that happened with Harima, starting with Tenma mentioning the "incident." Then she talks about their date in Tokyo("A-alone in an acquaintance's Tokyo shop..."). After Eri gets depressed about something Suou tries to get Akira to talk about something that happens, but she isn't talking. Everyone then talks about how they need to have some advancement in their relationships and make use of the rest of this school year! .... Or something. |

@ Kid Chrono: Yeah, that pretty sums it up. This chapter seems to be recap and setup. I don't have any idea what it's supposed to setting up, though, since Kobayashi keeps on doing random stuff.
Oh, and it's good to see you post over here and not just at WF. Welcome. |

Personally, I'd rather not have the series get extended and just have things wrapped up soon, as there's a high risk of the series becoming extremely repetitive (more than it already is) if Kobayashi covers the third year. |

highly unlikely. i like to think of School Rumble as a horse that was once magnificent. the mangaka then decided to beat it to death. And after that the mangaka continued to beat its corpse. over, and over and over and over and over. but he gets paid tho...

I like kauldron26's rference to SR as a dead horse. Yet I wouldnt call it dead. I would say that it was once magnificent horse, that now is severely wounded by the repepetive mangaka's blows. What is more it doesnt run forward but only in circles not really moving that far from the starting point. If Kobayashi will keep thius beating longer, it might really turn into corpse, since its near death allready with all that beating so far. Well, lets hope for the best, that Kobayashi understands this as well and won't make it die due repetetiveness and constant restarts, that lead to the same jokes just in different setting.
