Those gifs are great! That's why I love Kyoani, fantastic organic movements and believable animal behavior, from a deer to a cat. Awesome.

Ep 8 was not as funny for me as the earlier episodes. Had some "chuckle moments" to be sure, but not as many.

Agreed. We need to remember that this is also a slice-of-life, so it's not all about comedy. Still, my favourite episode did come with ridiculous curry spilling, rice toppling, fish catching, blood seeking fun.

And those Sakamoto GIFS are fantastic

He's so boss.

They seem to be playing around with some different styles for the high action scenes. Oh, and Yuuko sheds blood and causes a girl to cry in this episode.

After watching 9, I feel like this is a series I would have enjoyed a lot even in middle or high school before I sunk into the wretched depths of otakuism. I'm going to dig up my Azumanga Daioh DVDs now.

Yuuko's battle against the evil mosquitoes was the most interesting scene for me this week. Ending up being defeated by her mother.

The daifuku-kun scene was a little amusing as well. That pretty much sums up the job of anyone who works as a mascot. Scaring younger kids, taking abuse from others and being held at gunpoint by the police for suspicious actions.

Hakase's such a little brat. It kind of makes me wonder though that if she out of her own choice created and programmed Nano to be a responsible mother/sister-figure, why does she keep being one? Kids will be kids I guess.

It's still not as laugh-out-loud as the first couple episodes have been though, not really sure why as things don't really seem to have changed much.

Man, that mosquito scene; I felt like I was watching a martial arts movie.

Poor Mio, she got humiliated a lot this episode. At least she didn't get arrested though.

That mosquito scene was my favourite part of this weeks episode, especially that Mother slap.

Daifuku-kun scene was also great.

& i like Hirano Aya preview.
