Though I guess I don't have much to say as I still haven't read the raws (and do not really intend to). Just that from the rumors it may be two cuts this time which could mean that Medaka box survives again.

It does have the rep of a popular light novel author writing it, so it'll probably be given a better chance than mangakas that don't have that reputation advantage.

I can deal with the new plot. True, it's a bit strange, but I've seen worse. The problem with it is that it once again focuses too much on Medaka. One character alone cannot run a successful manga. You need a strong supportig cast and more importantly, other main characters that have as much importance to the story as Medaka. Right now, the manga lacks both of those.

Principal is experimenting with members of class 13 (Medaka isn't yet a part of this class), he is trying to create artificial superhuman. Group of 13 supergeniuses was of course unable to recognize principals intentions.
Killing people is allowed, not "just" to enforcers, but to any member of class 13. It's unclear if common students are allowed to kill each other.
Medaka was portrayed as a invicible. Now Unzen sister appeared and smashed Medaka instantly. Althought for a second I've fell some satisfaction, it means that Zenkichi and rest of SC are useless. What could Zenkichi or even Akune do to class 13 members? Stain their weapons with his guts? One of class 13 members already tried - a few times - to kill Medaka. Zenkichi doesn't even noticed this - he is a truly great protector.
Current plot is a degenerated version of Pokemon. Principal is breeding humans shaped monsters and set them on each other. Principal is a cheater - that way he always win.

I like to read Superior, because main female protagonist - a monster - is slowly turning into a human. It is interesting. Fights between humans shaped monsters, turning into even more freakish creatures is not interesting. Not to me.

Something else I just realized-- all the characters introduced so far have AB bloodtype. All the members of 13 and the student council, including Zenkichi. It's weird.

Principals goal is to create an artifical superhuman. Maybe AB blood is a neccesary to create such freak. On the other hand people with AB Rh+ blood type could have blood tranfusion from any human. In school where shooting and stabbing students is an everyday occurence people with such blood type have higher chances of surviving.

Wow, talking about being a genius writer...Somewhere along this manga, it will be revealed that Medaka and all of the 13 parents ain't their blood parents, and that they were artificially created by the principal years ago. If I remember correctly, this manga name is (or was) Medaka box, is it not? If a freaking power up arc is coming along its way, I'm so dropping this manga

Just read the chapter. Yep it's officially dropped by me. I really though this would be this would be like those student council comedy manga's, but with a healthy dose of romance. Too bad I really like the characters and interactions of Zenkichi, Siranui and even Medaka(in the start and the oneshot that is).

That is correct, from the looks of it, it doesn't seem to even remotely be leaning towards a rushed end.

I actually enjoyed this chapter more than most. I can deal with the weird plot as I've definitely seen worse. The manga is nowhere near what I expected, but I can deal as long as it actually does something creative.

They still need to put the reins on Medaka, though, and allow the other characters more time to shine. Otherwise, it's just going to get boring all over again.
