IS true that Saten and Gido are really strong and they can take whatever they want...but I can see Saten use both Sestuna and Kuchinashi to make Cruz do what he want.(like *come with me* or something like this).

Kuchinashi is about to have the traumatic shock of her life once Saten releases her and she sees what's left of Riru. And the same applies to Setsuna, with Arclight completely decimated and about to die.

Pretty much the entire world's population. That idea to have the earth only populated with Needlessess using those edenseed bombs was Saten's idea.

It might be best for Kuchinashi's and Setsuna's mental well being to never "wake up" again. But of course with Saten's sadastic streak he might just let them realize what he's/they've done just for the fun of it.

Let's just hope Yamada's eye color changing is a sign he's got a surprise which even Saten doesn't know about yet.

Because in the anime, Gido's assistant was revealed to be Saten, so maybe I was thinking it might not be an "anime-thing" anymore and they were previewing this? Like, what if Arlight cells were transfered to Saten somehow since he had a weak body.

At this point Saten is pretty much set for final villain.

And I'm afraid is too late now. I think I finally understand Arca's words.

"Your body". Those were Arca's words before she got stabbed by Arclight. Then moments before dying she finished what she wanted to say using religious concepts.

Arclight referred to his Stigmata pattern as the "Blueprint of God", and now, Saten has arranged each one creating a strange angelic-like form.

So what comes next? By the time Yamada realizes, it will be too late. This is why his sister wanted him to run far away, to avoid a worst-case scenario.

Not at all, is the opposite actually. Too many, too many things are already different from the anime.

As for your question, the answer is no. In the anime he was the scientist. In the original story he's no more and no less than the real Arclight, the original deal. And he was created by Triple Six, hence why Ishiyama founder of the Adam Project knows him so well. To add more, Riru was dismembered alive and eventually killed, while Arclight was doomed from the very beggining to the point Saten didn't need to do anything with him.

So if i were you I would ditch the anime adaptation and forget about it for the rest of your life, coz this whole arc which stil hasn't ended, is putting to shame that fake part of the anime.

Another plotdump chapter? And worse off, one that goes into the evolution mumbo jumbo that tainted the memory world arc? Ugh. To be fair it looks like this recurring theme is finally becoming a bit more plot relevant, but that doesn't exactly make it terribly relevant to the characters at play here.

I mean some of the twists are pretty cool, amd I got a good laugh out of the shoujo butai munch munch, but the protagonist group has spent most of the last few chapters starring in awe at plotdump with their mouths on the floor. Occasionally Blade punches someone, to no avail. This really lacks the vibrancy and energy of ~10 chapters ago, when every important character was engaged in their own events and really given a chance to shine. A bit of a lull for the purposes of plotdump is fine, but this has gone on for a bit too long.

Anyway, I'm well and truly stumped trying to figure out where the story is going to go from here. I'm damn excited for things to get moving again, I just hope it happens soon.

The way Riru dies is easily the most scary, bloody, gruesome and terryfying moment in Needless. Being assaulted by some cold-blooded brainwashed girls sent to kill you and being unable to do anything but watch helplessly how they painfully eviscerate and rip you apart into shreds is, scary, unquestionably scary.

This post is my way to tell you how days after reading the raw I still have not recovered of a scene that just horrifies me down to the core.

So, Saten is an Adam and the original Arclight. It makes sense. Why would you try to make two adams at the same time: to cover up the existence of an original, by having one purposely fail. I always wondered for a while if Saten had a byakugou, then he must have learned the Fourth Wave from another needless. I wonder if we'll know that Needless' identity. About Seth and Solva, we can't assume much of anything due to the big gap between the battle and when Saten arrived. I believe this was done on purpose as we'll get the full story when it becomes relevant. I expected at least a little more reaction from Mio about her friends eating her boss. Even Cruz looked like he was reaching the threshold of his sanity when Riru got "biten to pieces".

I suppose that's why clone-Arclight's body was always failing and why he needed to take Blade's body to survive.

(Also, goes back to that point I kept making about how Blade remarked about Saten's speed right after fighting Setsuna. Why would he be surprised about someone's speed after fighting the fastest Needless? Perhaps because he was using her Fragment and was even faster with the added boost of being an Adam. The question becomes, how did Blade learn the Fourth Wave from him considering he's an Adam? Maybe the Reverse Rejection Reaction only happened with clone-Arclight because... well, Saten made him that way?)

So the Stigmata actually form a body with 12 pieces? Wow, never expected that. The only piece missing is the left hand, as Soji mentioned. Makes you wonder why Aruka knew about the right hand of God and the left hand of God and why it's so important. Makes you wonder how much Aruka knew about Saten since they worked so closely together, too.

And when Arclight (Saten) made his Arclight clone (Arclight), he rearranged the body parts so that the Stigmata would not appear in the correct positions? I suppose the same is true for Blade, then because his Zero appeared on the belly rather than the head.

Also, yay, the Shoujo Butai is back... just... just a tad different though. I'm still happy they're back, just kinda wish they were a little less demonic. And yeah, I'm guessing that's why Setsuna was coughing up blood a while back... her virus must've activated then.

Well, no doubt Aruka's actions need explanation, and how much she knows. It makes no sense if she told him something about powers or stigmata. Also, Cruz only knows about stigmata through Saten, and for her to know that, she must have been told that from him as well. If she was conspiring with him, why would she keep Cruz away, if he is essential. If she wasn't, then how does she know Cruz knows about Stigmata, if that is what she was telling him?

Who knows why Setsuna coughed up blood? I can't imagine black attraction causing that, because Eve never coughed up blood when she got infected.

Yes, Cruz's greatest strength and weakness is his ability to easily trust and befriend others. I have a feeling this may bite him in this arc.

Same as the most of shonen main characters (naive and give easily their trust), except that cruz have not really ways to protect himself (or friends) due to his physical/fighting weakness and powerless (currently, aegis shield have lot of gaps due to the fact that can only stop direct needless attack facing his right hand, and the ennemy ever know exploit this faults)

To be safe I'd start around Chapter 40-43ish, basically re-reading the climactic battle with Arclight, since that's primarily where the anime went off into it's own thing.

50 is where the anime technically left off, but with all the big differences they made to the Arclight arc.

Well, when Cruz gets betrayed, its usually him and him alone that gets hurt. We don't need to be worrying about the others. All we know is that Saten has been concerned for his safety for some reason. After identifyiing himself as the head of Triple 6, Gido hasn't acknoledged Cruz or even given him a glance. I agree that Cruz doesn't have much to do with the situation. I still doubt he is the last stigmata holder even though he is one the few options left.

When looking at Saten's belt buckle and capeholder thingy now, they look like highly stylised A's . I can't believe those aren't made to look like that on purpose. Saten must have a good sense of humour by having his true initials A. A. out in the open all this time.

Considering he is a clone of the 2nd Christ I think we have discovered the reason Mio why didn't have to eat Riru, the same reason as the existence for the testamenko's and why Blade didn't hit their vital spots

Did Saten have Riru killed in such a horrible way because she was his inferior clones lover(even though she was made to be with Saten)? Just an act of jealousy?

Anyway, what's going on with the "fourth wave" stigmata? It looks quite a bit different from what we've seen sofar when Saten was drawing the eleven we know in the air. A lot(more than half) of it wasn't there when it appeared earlier on Saten's and Arclight's shoulder. Assuming Arclight got his from Saten, could it have been a deliberate ploy from Saten to make sure Arclight would never get the right form/location? It's the only stigmata we've seen this happen to and it just so happens to be the stigmata from the number one deceiver.



Here's a short summary of the chapter.

Saten reveals he's the real Adam arclight and orders his "horrorsquad" to take out Riru. Which they do. Saten says it wasn't untill after he had merged with the remains of the 2nd Christ and learned of the existence of the angels he made a clone to take care of the boring stuff.

Gido kept trying to find a way to revive Kasumi. He also tried to remove Kasumi's part of the brain again when transplanting Blade's doppleganger, but that couldn't be done. Eve wonders if Gido was the reason she melted. However all is not lost. Gido's sure the other side of the gate has a civilization which has the means to have both Kasumi and Eve live. Gido thinks evolution took a wrong turn on earth creating beings with just five fingers on each hand, which in turn led to the decimal system, which Gido thinks isn't adequate to solve the mysteries of the universe. Now the angels however.....count their fingers...

Since the life span of an Adam is shorter than that of a human and Gido was already over his peak when becoming an Adam he had his power and memory sealed, giving a key to Satan to restore it all when the right time was there.

Blade says he understands Gido's motivation but wonders what Satan wants. Saten wants pretty much the same as Arclight, have the same or more power as the 2nd Christ, the power to do whatever you can imagine. Saten was afraid Arclight might have closed the gate with that kind of power. Disk says closing the gate seems like a pretty good idea to her. Of course Saten and Gido think otherwise. Satan seems especially interested in gaining more power by absorbing angels("getting more colored pencils").

Arclight is starting to fall apart and wonders why even though he's supposed to be omnipotent now. Saten says it's because his body as it is right now is mismatched like a forced together doll. It's only after you have the 12 stigmata in the right place you can obtain the power. (I'm not sure if there's a bit more to it than that because of a particular verb being used which might or might not suggest something more) Too bad for Arclight the chip was messed with, several lines were deleted(which apparently made it impossible to properly decode). Afterwards Saten shows everyone what the form of the true god looks like.....well, minus the left hand of course.

Since the beggining of the history we sometimes have commented on how much Saten resembled the Second Christ. With the truth now finally unveiled, not only the saying "if you believe in God you have to believe in the Devil too" becomes true. This sets up the scenario for the upcoming conflict that will be taking place 2 years ahead in the future, and Saten and Gido's declaration of intentions (letting the angels leak out) is bad news for everybody.

The deceiving Saten, the incarnation of the evil counterpart of the 2nd Christ, the savior, successfully cornered and exterminated his two biggest threats. Riru just died and Arclight will soon follow her to the grave. Gido through having his memories sealed off, also tricked everyone and their mother and he turned to be one of the strongest.

This is the end of Simeon. Its two main pillars that held the company up are, one already dead and the other is nigh. In normal circustances, this should be seen as a victory for the Resistance, but it is not. Seth and Solva were killed, Arca died protecting Yamada, and two far more dangerous mosnters arise.

Nothing can revert this situation, not even Yamada, because Saten knows better than anyone else what's he gonna do with him. And to think this is the same guy whose tricks allowed Blade and co. to stay alive up till now. Not to mention Gido. I swear I'm gonna be pissed as hell if he was the responsible of Eve's body meltdown.
