Yeah I gotta agree with you there, this OP sounds too generic. It seems like they didn't take advantage of May'N's versatile voice, it felt more like a "play it safe" song. I didn't get that feeling that May'N's voice usually gives me but it's still a nice song.

Like Westlo said before, it's still leagues better than whatever was in May'n Street, at least to my ears... but I'm more jazzed up about the series itself - the music is just a nice bonus.

Kinda amazed at the poll results now that I look at them again. I'd been reading OST reviews online and it seems the majority of them love Ranka's songs to death, and don't like Sheryl's much. For me it's a bit the opposite. I think my favorites are the duets, Aimo O.C., and Shinkuu D.C. (even though I hadn't heard it when I voted.)

Also, are the Dra CDs out yet? I'm kinda dying to hear Shao Pai Ron and Totsugeki Love Heart.

REALLY?!!!!! So far I haven't yet seen anyone who watched MF and DIDN'T love Diamond Crevasse

The song is the soul of Macross F, not Aimo.

Well, I think DC is one of those that just about everyone likes. Best song in the series, agreed. She tendedto get railed on more for Yousei, Ikeza, and Welcome. Wherin the Ranka songs that I always skip over like Anata no Oto, and Seikan I saw much love for. Did not get it.

To be honest, there is nothing to "get." People just have different preferences and that's really just it. I mean I liked pretty much all the songs in MF, whether it was from May'N' or Megumi and it just goes to show you that they did a good job at creating their music for MF.

Personally think it's the best thing either of the two girls have done outside of Macross. Though I would like the full version to judge it proper... Megumi's BE MYSELF is very catchy though!
