I don't know if you're even supposed to be able to see the top cylinder (the one in line with the barrel) The fact that the cylinder lines up with the barrel would mean that the inside of the cylinder would be hidden. Imagine a bullet in there and you would just barely be able to see the bullet (the very corner of the bullet)

Great piece of work...i am really jealous of that toon shader...don't think maya has one like it. although i havn't looked into it that much. I really think that is some nice modelling. i'd like to be able to do things like that...(i think i can though...but not that nice and it will take a looooooo...ooooo....ooooong time)
say you wanted to add dust scratches to that one? i mean to make it more authentic...could it be done? i would love to see it as a gun who has been used several times and not one that has just come from the factory. if you know what i mean. and perhaps make a round for the gun...that would be sweet... |

i think you should make the rubber grip a more lighter black. wasnt there some detailing on the grips too? its a good model for a console game. but if you wanted to kick up the quality, try finding real specs and blue prints of the gun. anyway good model. you should make the metal surface more nickel brushed or sand blasted rather than a high shine surface. lol that desert bg is really cheesy and degrades the gun. how about finding a picture of vash pointing his gun and then replace the gun with your 3d modeled version? lol the bg and i think you shouldved posted your final version rather than showing it piece by piece. |
