Tsumugi keyboard amplifier
I have seen that nobody yet found out what Keyboard amplifier Mugi-chan uses.....So in the view that I have a keyboard and I'm playing for a band this made me interested in finding out Mugi's recommendation someday I'll buy it or at least a model under. I think it's the best used live at school.
It's a high profile Roland amplifier special for keyboards. It's the top model in ints class, check it out: Roland KC-880 http://www.rolandus.com/products/pro...90&ParentId=33 * Flagship stereo keyboard amplifier with five channels of stereo input * 320-watt stereo power amplifier, 12-inch woofers and two horn tweeters * DSP effects (Reverb, Chorus, Tremolo, Rotary) * Flexible I/O (XLR mic input, stereo XLR line outputs, headphone out), Stereo Link for chaining multiple KC-880s Mugi undoubtely has good taste, and ojou-sama's budget! See an actual picture from K-on for proof |

I don't really know if this was brought up, but in the preview of episode 12, Mio is seen wearing an AKG K701 (spankin' phones, I must say):
Spoiler for Mio's K701:
Spoiler for AKG K701:
Now that's all well and good, up until the point of usage. The 701 has pretty high impedance, and it really needs an amplifier and a DAC to function to its full power. I don't see Mio using anything like that. If it were a desktop, I could assume that she had an Asus Xonar Essence STX or HT Omega Claro Halo (or Halo XT) (They're soundcards built around headphone usage, and has an amp and a DAC in them). The K701 is also known for being picky about amps, and there aren't many that have good synergy with it (although I suppose that's a subjective opinion). Tube amps usually go better with AKG, but some prefer solid state amps. Personally, I'd go for a hybrid like the Head-Direct EF1 or something. Another thing is that since she's playing from a computer, it reduces a lot of choices for amps, since you'll need a USB amp (3.5mm jacks don't really cut it), like the iBasso D10 or something. But hey, Mio has excellent taste in headphones. Excellent taste. Hi five, girl, hi five. Last edited by Bash; 2009-07-03 at 18:50. |

I wonder what Yui's guitar is (the version I mean, I already know that it's a Gibson Les Paul Cherry Burst Standard)... but I'm not sure about the year...)
I'm also looking for cheaper models (but of the same look-a-like copy of Yui's Guitar)

If you want a less expensive copy, you can try the asian build ones either from Epiphone, Tokai, Agile or Vintage. To find the visually closes model, you have to do the homework yourself. One thing people offen miss out is to check the shape of the headstock, wich basically gives it away, if it is a copy or not. I could post a picture of my epiphone les paul later on, if you want. |

They are dead ringers for the Les Paul, even the headstock. Edwards is a ESP branch for the Japan only market so if you can find one more power to you or go to Japan or even Ebay. And yes I do own one, and compared the other clones, its the best one http://cgi.ebay.com/ESP-Edwards-E-LP...item5884568a66 |

Actually I more thought of this one instead as the closest to Yui's Guitar:
Spoiler:
http://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/electr...08092611395238 I could ask if they can get me that guitar, if that fails, I'll just have to get the cheaper versions XD

Do you have a picture of the 2007 Standard Gibson Les Paul Cherry Burst? (I kinda looked for the one with a visible "Standard" text on the head of the guitar (dunno the guitar terms). Plus there is a white plastic triangle near the hole....

You mean the truss rod cover? They are the same. As for the white platic triangle near the hole, are you talking about the tuners? Never noticed that, but the 2008 have grover tuners, unlike the earlier one, they have the kluson one, with white-yellow plastic buttons.

lol sorry I don't know anything about the guitar terms
Yeah it's 2008 Gibson Les Paul Standard (actually it said Fender instead of Gibson XD) What's the difference between Standard and Standard Plus Top? Another question: What's the full model name of Asuza's guitar? Answered: http://www.musicland.co.jp/shop/item...e/41271/43026/ http://www.musicland.co.jp/shop/item...e/40178/41837/

Maybe it's a Gibson Les Paul Standard 1979, because the 2008 don't have the plastic protection under the chords, in 2008 the back is light brown while in the anime is dark brown, the neck in the 2008 series are brown and in the anime is black.
