Two months till the 2015 version.
https://ssl.tkj.jp/form/lightnovel2015/ I already sent my vote.(It will close on 6th of Oct) Hope Misaka's 6th consecutive win won't happen... So I chose Asuna(1st) and Yukino(2nd) for the best heroine spot since I wanted to do even the tiniest struggle. (...Runsaway before getting killed.)

this year rokka no yuusha is out since no new volume on the concerned period. one more place open in the top 10 due to this.
Also, I'm not sure that anime has a lot of influence in those ranking; as it didn't seem to be the case before.

I guess Oregairu deserved it. Even though I haven't read it, I saw that Volume 9 was received unanimously well by the fanbase and had excellent sales to boot.
Though I'm surprised NGNL lost out. I thought it was a sure win for it given the huge sales driver the anime was. Series I'm personally looking out for: All Kamachi Series: Toaru Majutsu no Index (first and foremost) DanMachi Kamiya Yuu series: NGNL & Clockwork Planet Mahouka (just to see if it benefited from an anime; zero interest otherwise) A shame that Rokka no Yuusha won't be there this year but at least Volume 5 has been listed. Next year for sure. Characters I'm personally looking out for: Kamijou Touma: He's probably going to lose out to HachiMAN again but this year was basically owned by TouMAN in terms of character development and character awesomeness. Othinus: NT10 ending withstanding, she's definitely left her mark. Shokuhou Misaki: Its a shame that NT11 isn't counted but here's hoping she breaks into the Top 10 with Othinus. Misaka Mikoto: Is there anyone who can dethrone her? (Preferably not Asuna...maybe Sinon). Accelerator: Small but awesome moment that showed definite character development. Thor: For the lulz. Artists: Ponkan8: He has a second chance to take the top spot after Haimura snatched it from him last year. Haimura Kiyotaka: He basically drew one of his best illustrations (if not the best) to date. He'll be a tough contender this year as well.

Also, Yukinoshita Yukino is the best contender to dethroning Mikoto. Those other girls, not so much. I won't spoil you, but the development Hachiman received in volume 9 far surpasses whatever Touma went through in the Othinus volume. It really doesn't compare. Personally expecting Oregairu to sweep almost every bracket. And yes, there's some bias here on my part.

I disagree. Both Kamijou and Hachiman went through roughly the same revelation. It's just Oregairu's writing style allows to convey it with more emotions; it's more intimate than Index could ever hope to be with its composition.
...Ah, I'll be very, very disappointed in Japan (again) if Misaka/SAO's haremettes'd won girls' top. And pretty surprised if Othinus places in top-3. |
