If only they used "Brave Heart" instead that Psychic Lover insert song, this episode will be more better
And that scene where Shoutmon teased Beelzebumon, they should give us how Beelzebumon looks. Stupid 'Reload' restriction ! Mervamon is all dere now XD

Ok this episode was slightly better. I might give this series a pass as "decent" as I intended to from the beginning after all.
At the very least the asspull of the legendary heroes coming out of nowhere now seems a little bit less asspull-ish. Of course Tagiru is meant to replace Taiki here, which is kind of cliche though. I wish they'd expand on the clockmaker a little more. Like who the heck is he and where does he get X Loaders from? Not to mention how does a Digimon like Clockmon even exist? |

I was expecting more interaction between the legendary heroes, not just display of raw power. |

Episode 78: Assembly of the Legendary Heroes! Final Battle of the Digimon All-Stars!!
The penultimate episode seen!
I don't want to run out of breath, so I'll be going step by step with this review. Spoiler for Digimon Hunt:
Spoiler for Xros Heart United Army returns and upgraded:
Spoiler for All Digimon references found in Quartzmon:
And, it was all along an expected surprise that TOEI will sooner or later pull all the characters from the previous digimon series for a big, smash reunion. I mean they did for other franchises like Kamen Rider and Pretty Cure, for example. And, the insert song, "We are the Legend Heroes" was top score to listen to. Now, all remains just one more episode, and this series is finished. |

I feel like overall, this has been the weakest series in the whole franchise. I do understand that they might have done it just for the sake of gathering all the heroes but still it could use a bit more of action.
I hope that for the next season (?) we get a proper adventure. |

Boy i'm disappointed too.
I still able to tolerate the filler cause i'm expecting with the legendary digimon character,it should get exciting. Then the character only appear for 2-3 episode without much interaction with taiki gang. The highlights was PEW PEW PEW power. |

Silly me for thinking the series had a shot at redemption, with the old protagonists appearing. It'd be a shame if this terrible excuse for a season of Digimon prevents future seasons from happening. The franchise should not end on such a terrible note.

I still kind of enjoyed the episodic nature of the non-ending episodes. Not that I didn't want anything to happen, and I will admit that with some exceptions (FlaWizarmon episode comes to mind) the series was lacking the epicness that Xros Wars had. And I will also admit that the ending sucked (I haven't even SEEN the ending yet). I will even admit that it's best to treat this season as Ret Gone. And as I said, I have a severe beef with the series' writer to make Super Evolution so cheap and available to everyone. It totally lacked the "specialness" that the evolutions to OmegaShoutmon and ZeekGreymon had.
But I will not dislike Tagiru. Ever. A lot of the DigiXroses were nice to look at too. |

I'm not entirely hot on Xros Wars either, after it got into the generals arc, it all felt kinda cheap. At least before it made the digiworld timeskip, it was kinda genuine. In my opinion, the final battle with Tactimon was the peak of the entire series. Of course the first half of Xros Wars wasn't entirely faultless either, I kinda felt iffy whenever they used digimemories. However, the first half was also somewhat inoffensive, as opposed to the generals arc and xros wars 2, the latter of which was just a jumbled messed. I wonder if they intended this to be the final hurrah for digimon anime, as they brought back all of the previous heroes. It doesn't seem like they're in any place to celebrate some anniversary for digimon, unlike kamen rider and super sentai were when they did their crossover shows, so the crossover felt more like a send off than anything else.

Watched the final episode. Overall yeah I agree this season was boring, but it also had it's fair shares of awesome moments. And I like "Stand Up" and "Tagiru Chikara" very much :3
Spoiler for Clock shop old man's identity:
