I gotta tell ya thats a massive letdown him being obito even worse is the fact that team kakashi was essentially the same Naruto is Obito Rin is Sakura and Sasuke is well Kakashi its exactly the same i gotta admit this is just plain boring

I would have prefered Tobi to be Obito's father, 'cause I quite liked Cael's theory and thought that the motivation of this specific character would have been clear. It needs a little explaining for Obito's motivations, though. That being said, it makes sense that Tobi is Obito and I am satisfied with the reveal. I especially like it because it makes a certain group of characters more relevant, that would have otherwise been pointless if Tobi was revealed to be Madara's brother or something like that. Of course, at this point there is still the possibility that it may just be Obito's body, but with this chapter, I doubt it.

+1 to Kishimoto for not listening to the haters and choosing cohesiveness to his story over surprising readers just for the sake of it.

Before the war starts Kabuto and madara are talking.
Kabuto: Madara the key to this battle is the leaf village they've been the thorn in your side and i figured out a great way to cripple them.
Madara: Kabuto im listening.
Kabuto: The key to the leaf is Kakashi since he's no doubt going to be a leader and the key to his destruction is his trauma with his old teammate
Kabuto: With me i have the remnants of Obito Uchiha and i can use him to drive a huge mental wedge into Kakashi
Madara: okay what do i do.
Kabuto: Ill use my Impure World Ressurection to revive him then all u need to do is give him Rinnegan and Sharingan and when the time comes send him out.
Eventually the group will crack the mask revealing Obito and shocking him. All you need to do then is kill Obito in front of Kakashi absolutely crippling him and in the distraction u take out naruto and can release the Juubi's full power

lol ye you still did not realize that its futile to have so much complex theories/speculation right? i mean the Obito is Tobi is so much simple explanation that you only need to arrange the letters of their name
