I feel no sorry for those Skill-Out to be killed. They're making too much trouble for AC. If they're ineffective, why don't they just leave AC anyway. It's not like AC would care about they leaving anyway, they're not important figures like Mikoto or Accel. I mean, the country is in crisis and they're trying to make it worse.

Skill Out also includes those level 0's who are out of the dorms on night even if they don't cause any problems or if they are bullied by those students with powers.

Academy City is just a part of Japan, and no, Academy City doesn't allows them to leave, they're prisioners of the city.

they went through the esper development process, that means AC WILL NOT allow them to leave

There's a very simple reason that you guys are overlooking, two words - Living conditions.

No matter how bad living in Academy City is, it can never be worse than living in a slum in the outside world. Just like how nobody would leave a 1st world city for a 3rd world one no matter how tough it gets. Hell, you'll even have a higher chance surviving a drive-by with Academy City's hospitals than any other country, and given that the City is more advanced by 30 years, anywhere outside can be considered 3rd world by their standards. Beside, in times of war, how many places can provide total protection from Nuclear missile threat?

Another thing, packing up and leave is never and easy thing to do- Where are you going to go? How will you get money? Where can you stay? How to get a job with no education? Wht about your friends? Leaving the city is not a solution, it's a start of a whole other list of problems you can't just wing it and see how it goes, it doesn't work that way.

Assuming there is no delay, it will come out on March 10th, and it will most likely be leaked a few days before, so there will be spoilers well before the anime finishes.

In my opinion, 'God' is a format that's outdated, not just for the sake of Index's story but in the world now, people are more willing to listen to Science than the word of 'God'.

Now that Fiamma has lost his right arm, this might be a good opportunity for his Holy Right to manifest itself physically as his new arm... Somehow... Maybe a change of heart?

Similar to how Accelerator developed new power despite his new found weakness being hooked up on the Misaka Network.

And suddenly the thought of Fiamma running around with Touma's right arm attached to his own like a transplant appears in my mind. Maybe he'll start punching people with it?

Since this is the light novel novel thread u don't need spoilers. As for the arm being useful i dont think so. Fiamma himself said the arm lost its light and became useless. The right arm can only work for touma.

Then why he would be have evolving Accelerator into an angel and using Aiwass as his formula? The reason is Aleister wants to be free from God's will power.

It's because that's what Science does- When man sees something in Nature, he uses science to replicate it. An Angel is simply another creation to copy. In fact by showing that he can create man-made Angel, Crowley is lowering the 'divine' status of God.

Because if man can do it, what's so special about God?

Remember what God's Right Seat goal is?
Reach the status equal to God and then become higher standing above him.

Crowley said Fiamma almost managed to accomplish his own goals before himself which means Crowley probably didn't expect somebody from the magic side to go that far.

My point is that Aleister despite being the greatest magician wasn't capable to do some things with his theories with magic and git stuck at some point thus giving up his studies on the magic and tried science.

Because if man can do it, what's so special about God?

Until now never was told/implied Aleister was abled to made/summon an angel before on the magic side.
Remember? The first time he did one was with Kazakiri during Vento's attack but Fiamma did it with no problems during the war.

Maybe unlike Fiamma, Aleister didn't born with a special power but was enough smart to do his own research on magic until some point, again, where got stuck.

well, as a magician he did summon Aiwass, and learned a "new magic" from him/her/it....

no matter how i look at it, what Aleister is doing with AC seems more of a hybrid between magic and science...only it's called science because the magic is sufficiently analyzed and understood to effectively be considered a science...well, at least the parts that the scientists of AC know...

The date is July 1, and Mikoto is in a large shopping centre in Russia. The purpose of this trip is an ability demonstration organized by AC and one of ther partner organizations in Russia. The reason why AC agreed to this demonstration is to show others that AC has no intention of hiding anything to the partners. For that, Mikoto was sent alone without any guards or escorts from AC. In fact, it was all planned that Mikoto's power demonstration event will not give any more useful data for the researchers in Russia.

In the next few days, the demonstration event is going to take place in the shopping center that Mikoto is currently in. It is currently the world's largest shopping centre complex, with hotels, duty free shop, airports and other tourism facilities built around it. It's so large and the shops are so diverse that it can be considered as a theme park. But in reality, the shopping centre complex is a large experiment for various kinds of consumer and economic behaviour. Aside from being the World's largest shopping centre, the complex also used a new system called the Semi-Open AR (Augmented Reality). It's a type of AR system that allows anyone to access information anywhere on walls, the ceiling, and the floor without the use of any personal devices. Aside from viewing information, the system is also used to display advertisements tailored for each user.

When she arrived in the shopping centre, she was greeted by a woman called セタリー＝S＝スキーニキヤ, who claims to be a "security guard". The "security guards" in that shopping centre are very close to the Anti-Skill in terms of the nature of their jobs. セタリー will be her guide for the next few days, and roughly briefed her on the schedule before escorting her to the hotel.

セタリー also told Mikoto about an urban legend of the shopping centre, one that Saten also knows about in AC. The urban legend is about "a very valuable orange", and the value of that orange increases over time. The story is that a tourist saw something called "a very valuable orange" in a souvenir shop while overseas, then the tourist bought it as a lucky charm and brought it back to his own country. After getting home, the tourist saw that the orange was slightly shaking, so he mailed the shop that he bought it from. He then got a reply saying that the orange is infested with over a hundred eggs of a species of ants called the ベニオオアシグンタイアリ, which is very valuable. After reading the mail, the orange exploded.

Mikoto was told by セタリー that she should not leave the hotel until the next day, which will be the rehersal for the demonstration. This is because there may be people wanting to steal her DNA map or stop the demonstration, which will be bad for both AC and the partner organization. Inside the hotel room, Mikoto researched a bit about the details of the demonstration, then she decided to leave the hotel room. However, there were people watching the door to make sure that she doesn't leave, so she went out from the window. Her room is on the 20th floor, but with her powers this isn't an issue.

After she escaped from the room, she went back to the shopping centre. While walking around, she noticed a section which is filled with small and insignificant stores, unlike other parts of the complex. Among those stores, the one that caught her attention was a snack and souvenir store called the Nihon Daruma, and the name was in Japanese. The store was filled with occult stuff such as old lambskin documents, small animal heads, and insects in jars filled with an unknown liquid. The person behind the counter was Lessar. After having a small chat, Mikoto left the store. As she left, Lessar told her to be aware of oranges.

As she was about to leave the complex and go back to the hotel, the saw an orange on the floor at the entrance. She immediately thought of the urban legend, but no one else seemed to care about it. Using the semi-open AR system, she researched a bit about the ベニオオアシグンタイアリ ants. That species of ants ia carnivorous, and the colonies hide inside fruits in order to lure prey during times of food shortage. There are also cases of those ants plaguing villages and killing people.

When she finished looking up the info, the orange was gone. Some kids were kicking it around like a ball. Mikoto found those kids kicking the orange around outside, and she noticed that the orange was slightly shaking. She found a metal bucket around, then used her powers to launch the bucket and cover the orange with it. After hearing the orange explode under the bucket, the shocked it around 20 times, then confirmed that the ants are all dead.

After this, Mikoto was brought to an interrogation room by one of the "security guards" called エニーリャ＝G＝アルゴヌスカヤ, also a woman. There, エニーリャ told Mikoto that the urban legend was originally about a cactus instead of an orange. It only became an orange once it was spread to AC. Therefore the locals would not use an orange even if they were to make the urban legend a reality. Because of that, and the fact that the incident happened right when Mikoto came to Russia, エニーリャ suspected that it's actually Mikoto who created the exploding orange incident. Then エニーリャ left the room and left Mikoto alone. Mikoto was not afraid that anything would happen to her, simply because she really didn't do it and AC would not let Russia do anything to her. When she reached into her pocket to get a phone, she found a piece of orange peel and she didn't know how it got there. On the orange peel, there was a label with a QR code. She wanted to read the QR code with her cell phone, but the phone didn't recognize it. Then she used the semi-open AR system to scan it. After reaching the site in the QR code, she saw that the orange actually came in a box of 20. The rest of the oranges are actually still in the shopping centre somewhere, and someone is planning to do something with them. She called for エニーリャ, but no response, so she escaped from the room again using her powers.

(I'm not gonna bother translating the names, especially the ants)

And a new synopsis of the next Index volume is out. Most of it is old knowledge. It's basically saying:
This is a world without Kamijou Touma. The magic side was reorganized and changes were made. Accelerator + LO + MW are not touching the dark side, and there is no sign of GROUP. Hamazura + Kinuhata + Takitsubo + Mugino are working again as the new ITEM with the info they got in Russia for negotiations with the dark side.

What's new is the last line:
The "graduates" of the dark side got their peaceful lives......until an evil "freshman" appears in front of them.
