I remember something about Kirito saying something about America, although it's probably just from reading the summaries on Wikia. I searched through V2-V7 and there is no such reference. Maybe it's in V8-V10?

However - while there may be such informations in the illustrations (only on pages 2+3, as far as V7 is concerned) - there aren't so many in the text itself. At least, as far as I could see. Other illustrations in other volumes describe almost the same thing. I don't get why this isn't expressed deeper into the text though.

For instance in V7 (beginning):

Furthermore in V7's illustration (Silica, Asuna, Lyfa, Lizbeth, Kirito) for Asuna it's written:

That seems even more as if their love DOESN'T trascend SAO/ALO (to their real life) - since the name "Kirito" it's used instead of "Kirigaya Kazuto".

No reference to (private) dates between Kirigaya Kazuto & Asuna Yuuki (since V5, although that was a "kind of work" date). No kissing either.

May I know to which chapter you refer exactly for this (Asuna saying their love won't end with the end of ALO)? Maybe it's better that I just re-read it (but I'd rather not re-read the whole volume).

I never said anything about ALO, I was talking about SAO, and it was one of the last chapters, I think.

It has been quite a long time since I read a romance novel (at least 4 years) and I think this one was in fact the 1st one I read just for the fun of it. Furthermore this was the very 1st light novel I read, so maybe I still don't quite get its style.

Does anyone know if SAO will take a break anytime soon and then start up again later?
I know they have 25 episodes, but I was wondering if they are taking a small pause between arcs/episodes?

If you are thinking about One Piece/Naruto/Fairy Tail/etc, which just continue going on and on, then no.
A second season hasn't been announced, so when the first season ends we may get a second season next year or so.

Kirito himself refuses to call VR a 'false world' because the emotional connections between people are what defines 'reality' for him.
