Toddler incubates nest of deadly snakes

Quote:
A Townsville toddler has incubated a nest of one of the world's most deadly species of snake - in his bedroom closet.

Kyle Cumming, 3, found the snake eggs several weeks ago while playing in his backyard and put them in his wardrobe, according to media reports.

On Monday, the boy's mother discovered seven squirming baby snakes inside a takeaway container she had given him after he found the eggs.

Corrupt Apple Store Employees Come Forward Across America:

"The sources we talked to this summer described an Apple Store that wasn't just
poorly managed—it was a personal playground. Computers were traded for
plastic surgery, iPhones were smashed like party favors, and employees outright
stole from the back room for their own pleasure."

Miss Universe National Costume 2012

It’s time once again for that international moment of wonder known as the Miss Universe National Costume unveilings, darlings. A bigger collection of jingo-ism crossed with light stripping you will never see anywhere else.

Magic Mushrooms May Explain Santa & His 'Flying' Reindeer:

"But according to one theory, the story of Santa and his flying reindeer can be
traced to an unlikely source: hallucinogenic or "magic" mushrooms.

"Santa is a modern counterpart of a shaman, who consumed mind-altering plants
and fungi to commune with the spirit world," said John Rush, an anthropologist and
instructor at Sierra College in Rocklin, Calif.

According to the theory, the legend of Santa derives from shamans in the Siberian
and Arctic regions who dropped into locals' teepeelike homes with a bag full of
hallucinatory mushrooms as presents in late December, Rush said."

So Santa is Mario too? And his head elf is Luigi?

Well that is a pretty nice way to get views for his channel.

One thing interesting about these "evangelists" and "prophets" is that they keep saying that "they are spreading God's words" and "are leading the people to the right way to heaven", but the holy books have already told that the guy up there still judges impartially based on your acts, not your preaching.

Preaching is nothing more than playing with words. It is only considered action when it inspires other to do good deeds regardless of rewards (or an increased chance to go to heaven). It is decadent that most preachers are just attention seekers interpreting the books to make themselves feel good.

Real and Virtual Firearms Nurture a Marketing Link

Quote:
As Electronic Arts prepared to market Medal of Honor Warfighter, the latest version of its top-selling video game released in October, it created a Web site that promoted the manufacturers of the guns, knives and combat-style gear depicted in the game.

Among the video game giant’s marketing partners on the Web site were the McMillan Group, the maker of a high-powered sniper’s rifle, and Magpul, which sells high-capacity magazines and other accessories for assault-style weapons.

Apple was a great gig - until they replaced a fantastic management team who was immersed in Apple culture with a manager that they hired away from "The Disney Store" (who literally told me that as far as she was concerned the bottom line at HER Apple store was 'how many Minnie Mouse pj bottoms you can sell). I watched as "good" management was stripped out of the store and replaced with 'retail experienced' managers who didn't have a clue about what Apple was all about. Then systematically, great employees either walked or quit. Or . . . in my case . . . were fired for trying to keep the ethos alive. It was sad really.
Samsung would go down the same road once another company creates another "in" thing.

Welcome to the modern tech sector, those toys are no longer machines to be rigged and discovered for other functions, but simply for showing off.

This is why I still keep my Sony-Ericsson dumbphone, but have plans to buy a Nokia: I'm tired of hearing much about those overhyped "must-have" showphones that are also prone to snatchers and robbers.

Glad I still have my "black and white" phones. They won't break even if you throw them to your neighbors. Smartphone will break with your butt.
