The Novel and Manga of Haruhi Suzumiya

It's been well over a year since they even gave a vague estimate (Originally June 1 2007, then late June.) as to when it'll come out. Many theories but no one seems to know what the hell happened to the author. Has he even given any interviews in 2008?

Hum, had read the Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi-chan VOL1.
It's funny, It's build like a 4koma and following by a short chapter of 6-8 pages and finish with a short 4koma between Asakura and Nagato. Then it continue to a new part and repeat the same plan until the end of the 1st Vol.
It's funny and entertaining. The most part that intrigue me is when they show Nagato cosplay on Hatsune Miku XD (same expression, same hair but the computer and not the Negi)
Asakura is show like a little Nenroid and compare like a Pet Cat XDDD.

A little hint for the next haruhi game

I believe that there were 2 versions of the Haruhi manga. The 1st one sucked so much apparently, that it got shoved under a rug.

I've never actually been able to find any pics from this supposedly horrible piece of work. Did the creators burn every copy?

The 1st manga version designs are 3rd from the left. The girls definitely don't look as good as some others, but not horrible. The male designs are pretty shitty though.

This of course doesn't account for story content in the original manga.

So uhh, having not seen or heard of anything of Nagaru Tanigawa for I think over a year now, I came up with a couple of possible reasons. Bolded for what I think is the more probable.

1) He commited suicide.
2) He died.
3) He's in a hospital.
4) He's waiting for the second season of Haruhi to air to use as reference or to avoid plot holes.
5) He (temporarily) stopped writing (Haruhi) because he found a girlfriend.

I'm wouldn't hold my breath on seeing it anytime soon but seeing how subpar Volume 9 was perhaps it's not a bad thing.

We just got a whole bunch of new characters, one of which may be a clue to the mystery of how Haruhi got her powers, and you call it subpar?
