Question to anyone with experience buying kits from HLJ and 1999. Which ships faster, and how much is shipping generally? I can't seem to find a way to figure out my shipping costs until after I place my order, which kinda sucks >.<

well both are really good sites, 1999 however only offers EMS postage which usually takes 2-4 days to most countries (i live in australia), however if you don't mind waiting for your gundams then HLJ offers SAL method (as well as EMS) which takes around 2 weeks to arrive but is about half the cost of EMS postage so it's a good deal but unfortunately SAL doesn't offer tracking.

if you want to know about postage times to ur country, go to the EMS japan post website which tells you how long an item would get to ur country, hope this helps><

Hello all, here's my newest mod: Trinity Gundam. It was created using HG Zwei / Eins / Drei. 3 days constructing the 3 MSs and approx 2 days running through ideas in my head and experimenting parts. Unlike my Celestial Gundam, I managed to squeeze in all the parts from the individual mobile suits into this one.

Your kind comments and feedback please.

oops i was meant to type in sword impulse, it looks like a great kit, but i really want the SFB, i was tempted to do it before but since i have a MG freedom (my first ever MG kit) they both look similar and i wanted to give my collection some variety and the price kinda puts me off, maybe when the day that the US and AUD are in parity i might consider buying it

^^^^ that trinity gundams looks badass, it kinda looks like a minotaur with the four legs, nice creativity

btw, i heard the sword impulse's swords when combined together is impossible to carry with one hand due to its weight so the poseability with the two swords joined together will be limited, also when carrying just one of the swords with the left hand is also a problem due to its weight... kinda puts me off about buying an otherwise awesome kit, if any1 has this kit, can you guys pls comment on it???

Thanks. After looking at it, I'm not sure if I should switch the Zwei Fangs side skirts to the front though.

You can make it hold both of them with one hand but it will sag down very quickly. =/
It already has a bit of trouble holding one sword, two at once is pretty much certain to not work, unfortunately. =(

At any rate, holding the swords with two hands seems to be alright to me. =)

(Late) EDIT: To be more accurate, it CAN hold two swords at once. It may still sag but it is more "balance-able".

^try using super-attack on the part that connect the hand to the arm without reattaching the hand immediately.That will create a film that should make the hand harder to move or sag.

I'm working on 1/100 Blitz now, since I can't use black to panel line, what are the suggested colours? Silver or gold?

IMHO, red would look awesome, and not too flashy (since the lower layer is black).

grey would work too, i think i seen they sell a grey panel lining gundam marker.

Kelrys looks like you have alot of building to do with all those kits. Good Luck. One question why get a Strike Rouge + IWSP when you have that MG Lukas's Strike E + IWSP.

I think you're talking about Wing zero Custom

@ Kelrys I'd say Red as well, Matches and not too flashy

Hmm, the Sword Impulse comes with set HG-like hands I think, which makes holding the two swords easier.
