Don't know if I recommended this or not, but I'll throw this out.

The Leviathan of the Covenant. Brought to you by the author of Campione.

Pretty interesting story so far. While the background and setting are different from Campione, the writing style and in particular the battle scenes (writing wise/not event wise) feel extremely similar.

Is there anything out there that's not harem? Does that still exist? I desperately feel the need to see one beautifully well-developed relationship instead of countless terrible ones.

Biblia Koshodou no Jiken Techou.
Shinonome Yuuko series.
To Aru Hikushi E No Tsuioku.
(Magdala de Nemure isn't romantic at all, but there is a nice relationship going on)

Just off the top of my head.

Im simply looking forward to Mizuno Ryou's (Famous for Loddos and Rune Soldier) upcoming series, Gran Crest. Several chapters has already been released on DM, and Im liking it so far. The firs volume will come out in august, and MF will also release a LN set in the same world.

Rune Soldier actually ended more than a year ago. The English wiki hasn't updated it yet.

Yeah. The classic. Loddos and Slayers are like the Gods of LN. I miss LN like them. I like harem and stuff, but sometime having an LN which is really serious is good. Well, Slayers had some(actually a lot) of funny moments.

HnA isn't that bad, it just annoy me when Kinji refused to go HSS mode when needed most.

I think, I'm going to read C3 after HnA.
A bit late, but I second C3 over HnA and IS as well.

^ Well to late, I got 2 more vols left to read of HnA until I'm up to date, once that done, I would read The Zashiki Warashi of Intellectual Village vol 3 and once that done, I would then read C3 and that if n0m@n haven't completed translating HxH vol 15.

Don't you mean the IS author is legendary?

Hello there o/
First of all, I'd like to thank the users who talked about rokka no yuusha here, as this is one of the reason that made me buy those volumes o/
The synopsis wasn't that appealing but the rokka no yuusha 's current 3 volumes were awesome, alright, I really enjoyed the read.

That mix between a fast paced fantasy setting and well done mysteries usually don't make anything good ImO as those two types tend to hinder each other, but the author manage to do it in an awesome manner.
The volumes hook you in, they are easy to read, scenarios and characters are awesome (especially the scenarios :O )and so on...

So I wanted to ask. Do you know others LN like that around? And is tatakau shisho -from the same author- of the same caliber?

For easy to read and great hook, I'd recommend "A Lollypop or a Bullet" (砂糖菓子の弾丸は撃ちぬけない). For great mystery but not all that easy to read, the Zaregoto series.

Haven't tried Tatakau Shisho, so no idea there.

Thanks.
I already read satougashi, and it's among my favorites as well. NisioisiN's novels may be a little hard for me to read, so while I'm interested in them (provided that they're not released in that koudansha box format like the monogatari series), I'll probably won't read them any time soon >_<".

Ningen series is in normal volumes. I think Zaregoto is unboxed as well.

I checked zaregoto around a month ago as I was interested so yes, the zaregoto volumes are unboxed.
Never heard of the ningen series though. Is that http://myanimelist.net/manga/18162/Zerozaki_Clan ?

Try Time Leap? It's great and easy to read.

Has anyone read 剣刻の銀乙女 by Teshima Fuminori? Considering the author's track record, I'm curious enough to give it a shot (and the recent volumes have some interesting reviews in its favor), despite it being a series published by Ichijinsha Bunko and the rather generic premise.
