After episode 8, i can say this is the worst anime i've ever seen.
Dunno how i was able to tolerate this bunch of annoying, generic characters in uninspired situations for so long. It's not even remotely funny.
Well, i guess the one and sole purpose of this series is selling those horrible character singles, since the songs keep popping out of the blue in the most forced way possible.

This is easily better than Ninomiya-kun. You need to watch more Anime if you think this is the worst... because there is some real bad shit out there.

Honestly (and I'm a manga fan) it's about the same of Ninomiya kun. Worse than Girls Bravo 1st season but way better than GB 2nd season.

Those pantsu shots are just distracting.

I disagree, the character Singles are anything but horrible and maybe they should make a musical instead, more song ftw. Reminds me of Red Garden with the cast singing for the 1st half of the series.

As for the worst manga -> anime adaptation that just plain bad in many way I nominate Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge. Lol, the show was craptacular in everything, from character art to animation and the OP sent shivers down my spine. plus it was a 25 episode anime.

V+R has decent animation some nice music and some people actually like pantsu or immune to them .

Well, we do have Mizuki Nana and Kugimiya Rie. (These two are, at worst, decent singers. At best, well...)

Too bad I was gone for a while and didn't get a chance to say too much.

Would have to say with the characters, Mizore and Kurumu have been my favourites. With Kurumu more from the manga and Mizore being great in the anime so far.

True enough that you can't go wrong with Mizore. Really trying hard to avoid a pun related to ice . But really did have a good feeling with her character and could understand her feelings pretty well. So probably why Mizore was a favourite for me right away.

Well think about this tho. Mizore is kinda like Yuki from TMoHS, and both shy and quiet.
but I <3 shy gurls

Mizore is shy from fearing the unknown. She's a bit afraid of strangers, but to friends, she's really warm, though not enough to melt herself, of course =X.

No seriously, I totally disagree with the 'folks above. (referring to Forbin and Goty)
Rosario to Vampire is a good anime/manga. It has a nice selection of characters, not too bad animation, nice music (yes even the character albums which pop out every once in a while are nice to listen to, and you prejudge their talent), humor (YES, I EXPECT A COMEDY TO AMUSE ME) and finally, the story.

I mean, give me a break and serve me fresh chocolate cookies with a pint of milk while massaging my feet if you manage to find anything as unique as this.
When was the last time, i repeat, when the heck did you find something even close to this??

Just think about it, A guy who fails at his exams, but luckily finds an application for a school, but the school turns out to be a school for the supernatural, which hate humans, and the main character ends up falling in love with a vampire which can turn into a boot-kicking true vampire one her necklace is torn off! "draws breath" Also every other character has their own unique personality, you can't find two matching characters in this anime/manga, because there is NO one who acts, talks or even as far as dresses in the same way!
And that's what i like about Rosario to Vampire, it doesn't take its wheels and spin them over old and boring territory, just giving us another boring harem clone.

Ok, it goes a bit over the old harem land, but it is also swinging in between alot of other amusing categories, trying out new twists and turns, which to a limit turns out quite well.

But then again, if i take on my criticism-pants (oh, so baggy), not even R+V escapes the clutches of "Then again, there are some negative sides" For example, it can show signs of total fan service at times, and it has gone past the border of panty-display (fortunatly, i ate my way through all the episodes of Chobits and a lot other of panty-festivale series, so i've grown quite immune) Also, the episode set-up can be very repetitive at times, so don't watch/read it without expecting something of the same caliber popping up every once or twice.

And with that, I conclude my analysis of Rosario to Vampire and i come up with the conclusion that you either have a very strong crick in the back for series like this, or you have been watching the wrong bloody series.

Now if you'll excuse me, i'm gonna go get something to drink. "falls unconscious from the lack of oxygen"

Well, like Chobits, R + V anime is a toned down version of the manga.

When it comes to singing Rie shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as Nana.

Whut?
Manga is so much moar subtle in it's fan-service.
u hardly even see any panty shots.......so i hope ur being sarchastic.
chobits I agree with but R+V hell naw. Fan-service is at critical in the animu, while it's not really that apparent in the manga

Ok, maybe I should have said dumbed-down.

The manga is a lot smarter and it kicks butt. Full stop.
