Well, you can believe in the possibility of Lelouch being resurrected or brought back to life by cloning or whatever you want, as long as you acknowledge that, for the time being, Lelouch is deader than dead.

Well then, I suppose we have no choice but to debate this topic into ground and lay another fine wallop on this already very dead horse, accomplishing nothing in the process.

^Or just stop here, I don't really see a point in arguing it further. We've got our stances and there's not much more to do.

If fan desires influenced Code Geass in any way, Rolo would've immediately died an extremely painful death for killing Shirley. And Jeremiah and Sayoko would've had cyborg ninja knight babies. But it didn't happen because Taniguchi and Okouchi don't give a crap about the incessant whining of any fan, eastern or western. And I am grateful to them for that.

Yeah, I'll agree to the extent that, on the whole, it's really not a good idea for media artists to cave in to the fans' desires. Still, I wouldn't have minded seeing Rolo die a slow, horrible, agonizing death.

YES! YES! die, Bobo! Die!

Disgusting little yandere demon... Only thing good about him was his knightmare frame, even then.. he used his geass to win battles, not actual coordination or ability. (IMHO.)

-sigh- hate hate hate hate HATE..

Okay.. let's get off the subject of Bobo... xD (II know I overdid it, I just rewatched episode 12-16, give me a reason not to.)

....If they did do any PD for Bobo, I hope it only shows him as a support character, and not a main. Evil yandere boys aren't my type...

Actually he did I think! He died of either a heart attack or heart failure.
Also as much as I'd like to believe that we fans had somthing to do with reigniting Code Geass's flame,I believe Rising Dragon hit the nail on the head!
But let me ask you this; Isn't the U.S. The second biggest consumer of anime next too Japan? I heard there was a petition going around on the internet to make more Geass not too long ago.

Or Ohgi to get karma'd for treachery, along with Villetta.

I hate Ohgi, as well...

A petition for more Geass? Greedy. Also sort've scary.... Kozuki-chan may die! That is a no no! Big no no!

Bobo died of heart failure, his geass stops his heart after activation (Which is why his geass cannot mutate into the next stages/phases, because that would kill him.)

V.V. gives out some pretty defunct Geass... Besides, Charlies', but they never went indepth with his, though...

Can we curb the character hate before it really starts rolling? There's no reason to bring it up here.

Well, it certainly didn't look like an agonizing death to me.
As for the American anime market, I honestly don't know. But somehow I don't think so.

So let me get this straight: You don't want there to be a sequel to Code Geass just because of the possiblity that Kallen might get killed off?

Quite the sensible one, aren't you?

given how the REST of the show went, i'd say he's pretty Genre Savvy

Heck, Everybody Dying would be Genre Savvy, literally.

Sorry about that. Inner rage over less favored characters surviving instead of liked ones working up again.

Love the Bobo nickname, btw, Solstice Cross. Reminded me of an episode of Xiaolin Showdown.

Well, everyone dying except for the ones that we really really want to. Besides, I think Kallen is safe. Where else are they going to get their ample amounts of fanservice shots?

I thought that the reason Jeremiah survived both Narita and falling into the ocean was due to fan demand.

It's debatable if this was trully a "horrible" death. On one hand, yes it is a death, and I would imagine dying due to heart failure is among the less pleasant variants, but the overall tone of the scene implies that Rolo's last moments were infact very happy and self-affirming.

That's the leading theory, but its never been confirmed and I've never seen any sources even giving reason for us to believe it.
