08th MS team has jungle and guerilla combat alot like Vietnam.
I suppose 00 could be a cold war of sorts, between the 3 nations... There's no Gundam series set in the past though (That I know of) unless it's SD, which I think is based on an old tale, set in the past. |

But I know I've never heard the sound effects a MS makes when it walks anywhere else. |

Hey Guys, i got two questions:
1. Gundam Unicorn: How big is the military force of the "Sleeves"? From the 2 episodes released so far, i can't figure it out. 2. Gundam SEED Destiny: Is their some kind of "superior canon" between the series and the Special Editions like with MSG and it's own Special Edition? |

Having said that, I also think that, due to the format of the SE, just because something is missing in the SE doesn't necessarily mean that it's not canon unless its disappearance has a significant effect and/or it is otherwise confirmed to no longer be canon. You may wanna double check your sources on that, Nosferatu. In actuality, Gyunei and Nanai have been replaced with Glab Gas and Mesuta Mesua, respectively. There's also the addition of the NZ-222 Psyco Doga, which Glab Gas pilots.

Given that several series/games seem to share sound effects as noted, it's likely there are outside companies whose job is just to produce sound effects, and they then sell the rights to use those to all sorts.

The game started out after the first weeks of OYW where you can choose either between Feds and Zeons to play as with you usual cast of OYW characters from both sides wth about a hundred turn to win the game. The wacky side is that you can twist the OYW history to you liking based on decisions you make. As an example, playing the Fed as Revil, you can choose as not to start on Operation V and just pumped out the usual tanks and fighters for the rest of you hundred turns you are assigned to. Playing as Gihren, you can opt to give Rambal Ran a unit of Dom and keep him alive to deal serious damages to the White Base and steal the RX-78 prototype in the process. There's is a lot of "what-ifs" to play around here, like keeping Garma alive, not starting on the Newtype Research, not ordering the Cyclops Teams to investigate the new protoype, etc The best part is after the OYW scenarior, where factions spring up lefts and rights one after another and you are given 999 turn to deal with all of them. Whether you played as Revil or Gihren, you need to fight aganist the Delaz Fleet, Titans, AEUG, Hamaan and Char's Neo Zeon and various Zeon splinter groups like Garma's Zeon, Casval's Zeon and Kycilia's Zeon. And after killing all of them, you can start a new game with whatever faction you have found liking that are featured in the game. |

It seems like the only people that use that spelling are you and Mark Simmons. However, having the two of you in agreement completely overrides anything that wikipedia or gundam wikia might say. Thank you, and let it be know that at least the SD Gundam G Generation Wars Wiki has the right spelling.
