Believe it or not, what I like most about this is the reason why the fat kid(dont mind me, hard japanese names...) wants to help her. He does't believe in himself and believes her. It turns him into an tottaly extremely person to her, which I think is very very cool. It opens up for some good character development later on.

IDK why I think this. It reminds me of Hoshi no Samidare(except that dude was EXTREMELY dedicated).

How is 'Haru' a hard Japanese name (though it's a shortened nick)? It's even shorter than 'fat kid'.

let me ask you guys... will you if given a chance wear a neuro linker...? well our technology is coming to the level shown at accel world with Augmented Reality (google is developing AG prototype glasses) id dare say in about 10-15 years...Even more will you accept brain burst?

for me ill wear it it seems interesting VR world, AG. as for brain burst ill think about it...even though the advantage is good but since the possibility is high ill be always be challenged everytime i connect to net...it will be tiring after a while...

what do you guys think?

let me ask you guys... will you if given a chance wear a neuro linker...? well our technology is coming to the level shown at accel world with Augmented Reality (google is developing AG prototype glasses) id dare say in about 10-15 years...Even more will you accept brain burst?

The author's other work was inspired by Ragnorak Online and Ultima Online. This work may be similar to those games. Also, the original title was Absolute Acceleration Burst Linker. After receiving the unfavorable feedback, the title was changed to Accel World.

I'm liking this anime so far, I've ran out of them long shonen action anime to watch so this will be a good replacement.

I have to admit, Haru is so adorable as a pig in the regular net world, but he looks like such a badass when he's in hyper net world.

That whole conversation with Haru and Yukihime reminds of a knight pledging allegiance and loyalty to someone he truly believes is worthy fighting for yet he doesn't find himself worthy out to stand equal footing with he's sworn to serve. It's kind of romantic actually.

Well no because Brain Burst is a fighting game where you fight other players so unless people chalenged you constantly not likely.

Just saw episode 1.

Alot of magical stuff on the net.
Saw also the manga and anime comparison of Haruyuki. I don't really mind his animation look, I think it's cuter imho. I really like his attitude very shy and not so confident, till he meet Kuroyukihime.
The only thing here that surprised me is he's already fat and he's avatar is a pig.
Insult to injury....or should I say physical looks. XD
