The massive 2ch rumor post about how Kadokawa ordered 6 eps of E8.

At this point, I'll be disappointed if they don't go for eight episodes of Endless Eight. They can't not do it after what they've put us through already now.

Hahahahahahaha.

Congratulations to KyoAni/Kadokawa for continuing to prove they are the troll-masters.
I'll be looking forward to subs of this. There was a couple of lines that looked like they might have had something interesting in them that I'll be looking out for.

This could very well become the greatest stunt ever done on TV, they are directly challenging 'jumping the shark'.

I'm very interested in what will happen after all this, amazing stuff.

Anyway, Yuki says this is the 15513th cycle, between this and the previous episode, Kyon failed another 14 times.

This?
Spoiler for japanese:

Doesn't that say that they don't have plans to animate Dissappearance? Which is obviously fucking bullshit.

Agreed. If we're already knee-deep in this crap, we might as well call it pudding and be happy with it.

This may become the latest meme.

Kyoani is starting the meme deliberately.

...wait a second. Summer? Endless Summer...oh no...they wouldn't.....they already did a 3 year gap to us, matching up with Kyon travelling 3 years to the past in Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody. They're not going to continue this to the 31st of August, when the time loops finally finished, are they?

Please don't jinx it

They can do 6 episodes for broadcast, and make another 2 for the DVD.

Thanksfully my time is loaded with Canaan and Umineko and a HUEG novel + anime backlog + the need to level up my skills in EVE Online so I can fly what I want to; and some dogsitting for a sibling. See you in August or september, Haruhi fans.

On a big-picture level, I'm genuflecting to KyoAni for their sheer balls at extending this whole fracas to 5 episodes.

On a personal level, I'm running short on stamina. Just how many times do I have to copypasta my own article?!
