And all three had great animation to go with the songs so I can't wait to see what they'll come up with this time.

Nirgilis' song was giving me strong Birdy the Mighty vibes.

Anyways, the show looks kind of cool. The animation irks me at some parts (that naked girl's movements are weird in some frames...), but cooler parts make up for it. I'll keep this show in mind.

The white-haired girl, Shiro, isn't fully naked, but she is actually wearing a white bodysuit with some red spirals.
On the other side, it's planned to air on TV Kanagawa first : this means there will be a lot of censorship which include a full bit of blood and an earthquake scene.

Shiro is really hawt, make no mistake about it. Especially if you read the manga.

I always thought Shiro was naked when I first read the manga until someone mentioned she's wearing something.

It's originally planned to air in early April, but it was delayed on April 16th because Manglobe is making a heavily censored version that the fact is the anime will air on TV Kanagawa every Saturday nights at 25:00 (Sunday morning at 1:00), but after the March 11th earthquake, the great earthquake scene is going to be edited or replaced by an explosion scene.

I say it because due to Tokyo Bill 156 case, there's plenty of show that there contains scenes that are censored if they depicted as minors engaging in sexual activity (Chitose's breasts grabbed by Furukawa in Softenni, Kinji saw Aria's bra in Aria the Scarlet Ammo when he saw her breasts, A client undressing Kinako's strawberry panties in Oretachi ni Tsubasa wa Nai). I guess that the bill will also targets not only that was writted above, but any scene that could corrupt the mind and development of children, even these series are aired late at night.

The prison setting is fun, and I think it wins a lot of points for coming up with that system that pits every one there against each other, but from here on it'll have to depend on making said death games actually entertaining. Personally, I wasn't really feeling the tension in this episode, so we'll have to see how it goes. Ganta is the victim to some serious setup right now, and I don't think I know why exactly it ended up being him as opposed to... anyone else. Shiro was weird. She had a lot of enigmatic pieces of dialogue this episode, enough that if you look at her under a suspicious light she might actually be related in someway or form to the massacre. It was quite weird seeing how she knew who Ganta was, and could even feel him coming from afar. Touching his chest too, where the stone is hidden. On the production side of things, nothing much to comment. It's pretty average with a couple of good scenes. Music... nothing really stood out, for better or for worse. Overall, it had some interesting details here and there and depending on how the story progresses it could get much better. I'll be keeping an eye on it for another couple of episodes, but this season has so much stuff that it might be put on hold. __________________ Last edited by Blue-kun; 2011-04-16 at 15:37.
