I guess the problem with 2D girls and boys is that they lack substance. They are perfectly fine on the visual department, but they still have to work around the tactile one. Also they tend to be boring on the long term, you see them repeat the same things over and over, until you decide to move to next 2D girl or boy, then the cycle repeats. I guess one of the "pro" of 2D characters is that they are perfectly disposable. This is a quality that the 3D counterpart doesn't seem to understand.

I dunno but it looks like 3D boys and girls refuse the whole idea of being disposable and rather ascribe themselves to the theory that sees them at the center of your universe. They also seem to react very bad when you try to challenge this belief. Real people sure are unreasonable aren't they? :3

It's not that they don't understand the whole idea, it's, for some, that they refuse it. Refusing something doesn't mean that you don't understand.

But can you explain in details what do you mean by being disposable? I want to be sure that I don't misunderstand you.

The first part of my post was a general comment. Because it can happen that you "understand" something while not agreeing with it. And people could misunderstand you and say "he/she doesn't understand", while you just disagree.

About the second part, I was just wondering if you meant:

- Disposable -> available for use if needed.

or

- Disposable -> that you can throw away once used.
