Soooo... yeah, God only knows. The revision is more measured and probably will work if I ever get the time and inclination to start knocking out some parts of it. Every so often I get a scene out or mull some segment over in my head, but as of right now there's been no in-engine progress (and won't be until I have a full script). EDIT: Oh actually I have an entire part potentially ready to release, but it'll take scripting and stuff first.

Right well, I think this has gotten about as much polishing as I care to solicit for it (for now).
Redaction of the Golden Witch - Part 1 Set between the events of End and Dawn, Battler ponders the nature of his victory and the tasks ahead while Virgilia provides distraction - and inspiration - in the form of an anomalous stolen Fragment that neither ought to have been allowed to see. Set also in a time far beyond, an editor identifying only by the pseudonym "Walter Absalom" presents a long-discredited Forgery which he argues contains not the truth of October 1986, but of the deaths of several young Witch Hunters who made a pilgrimage to Rokkenjima in the summer of 1996. Battler and Absalom seek different truths within the same tale, speaking to things neither could possibly know about the world of the other. But each arrives at the same uncomfortable question: What does it mean that Beatrice is seemingly absent from this story? For the moment, the story begins here, in a six part playlist. Will look into a normal engine release when I have more time on the technical end to fix various things. But that'll probably be when other parts are finished. Speaking of other parts, work is definitely still continuing: Spoiler for Part 2 Preview:

A question before I start though, would you say this part is enough to theorize on answers? I am going to anyway, but just saying.

I suppose the counter-question would be, could you theorize on answers after the first half of October 4th in Legend? Because that's roughly the period it covers. There might be some things to consider but obviously there'd be a lot of missing information. And speculation as to the other side would be largely impossible since it doesn't contain those bits yet.

There's programs that can rip them from the game files, if you have copies. That's how I do it. Basically you use something to open arc.nsa and the backgrounds are in there in a folder (as are the portraits, etc.). I can't say what programs though, it's been a while. Make sure if you do rip that you rip both ep4 and ep8, as there are some backgrounds, effects, and so forth that do not appear in Chiru.

Download NSAOut and run it in the game directory as an admin. It'll create a folder called "arc" containing every background and sprite.

I was brainstorming a while ago, thinking of ways of connecting the various When They Cry series in a fanfiction I might write after I finish the projects I'm working on (I swear I'm working on them! It's just that I sometimes forget to update my development blog!).
I was thinking on the fact that Bernkastel is based on Furude Rika and Lambdadelta on Takano Miyo and suddenly something flashed in my head: - Keiichi, the Magician of Words (Maebara Keiichi's 'title' in the Club) - *******, the Endless Sorcerer (dunno if spoilers are allowed on this thread, but I'm not being explicit to be on the safe side.) "Magician" as in "Magician of Words" and "Sorcerer" as in "Endless Sorcerer" are the exact same word in japanese. This small 'epiphany' is giving me so many ideas to use...
