I'm quite surprised that Gundam AGE was able to rack up that percentage. Probably like Suzuku said with episode 5 being the breaking point. If they play their cards right, they can wrap the mecha fans around their hands to boost it even higher.

5% good. Wonder if I'll increase next ep since I'll have action in it. Also wonder how HxH would have done if it was pair up with One Piece.

Around the same numbers as Toriko I suppose. Since airing at 9 am on Fuji TV (the first private network in Japan in terms of ratings, at least back in 2009) is obviously better than airing at almost 11 am (when the kids have turned the TV off, and Hunter x Hunter's ratings show that : http://hato.2ch.net/test/read.cgi/an...1321389296/435) on NTV.

It seems like Gundam AGE is the most viewed anime in both areas, I'm surprised it even beats Fate/Zero.

It's a Gundam, and it's on at 5:00 pm on Sundays, not 2:00 am.

Nichijou's numbers were interesting the last several weeks it was on. The last week it looks like people forgot it was on.

True enough, Gundam has been extremely well-known among many people. The airing time also helps, which reminds me of the ratings for The World God Only Knows being severely low because of when it was airing.

And Gundam Age is actually not doing very well rating-wise for it's timeslot and compare to 00 and SEED or even Destiny, it is losing ratings in target demographic as well.

Would be nice if that stability would stay. That said, I bet those ratings are still coming from 29-40 year old males and kids still aren't watching it.
Which would suggest it was staying alive mainly due to its reputation as a Gundam series. But even then it seem that is was losing that demographic as well compare to SEED and even 00. It's almost like a reverse Destiny except Destiny manages to keep its weakest demographic around while Age pretty much has no demographic outside of the base Gundam viewers.

SEED and Destiny had a better timeslot than 00 and AGE. In terms of overall ratings AGE is doing just slightly worse than 00 at this point.

Anyway, those numbers that AHT posted are interesting. Particularly T&B's ratings. It's amazing it was able to consistently generate ratings above 2.0% at its timeslot and even managed 3.8% for its last episode. It was not only a hit with otaku but also somehow brought in people from the mainstream, which is the only way it could have gotten so close to 4.0%. I hope the demographic breakdown for those ratings are posted at some point. I wonder if this will push the producers to try and put it at an earlier timeslot if a second season is made after the two new movies? Also, AGE does a lot better in the Nagoya region.

T&B did extremely well in the TEEN and F1 demographic, much better than any late night slot I've ever seen aside from noitaminA and NTV's slot. They really shouldthink about airing the second season on Nichigo or possibly an entirely new slot.

The only problem is that T&B was actually shown on some UHF stations (Tokyo MX, BS11). It's impossible for a UHF anime being aired on some of VHF stations like TV Tokyo.

MBS was the main producer of the anime though (alongside Bandai) and had first airing rights anyway, so they can probably do with it as they please.
