I don't think the Elite would put up with that. People consider Haruhi annoying enough when you factor in the fact that she's cute. Haruhi doesn't exactly fulfill many of squid lips beautty ideals.

Haruhi would subconsciously make the Elite enjoy it. It would be like sex to the Elite.

An Elite falling in love with a human teenage girl... it would be so cool! I can just imagine Haruhi riding around on top of the back of one of the Elite. Thanks for that awesome picture, though.

...Now that is a terrifying thought. Terrifying in that you could sorta see Haruhi doing this. She'd probably try to grab some high ranking Fleetmaster and use him to start some kind of SOS space empire.

Haruhi as Queen of an alien empire as always struck me as pretty fun.

That's why I wrote that into a fanfic I did once.

Haruhi would view the Elites as the huge warriors race guys. Thus her interest in them will be related to ray guns and star ships with even bigger ray guns. The Elites being patriarchal will mainly have males in the stereotypical role that she's interested in. So Elite Yuki would likely get ignored by Haruhi, because she isn't doing anything "intresting".

Now Male Elite Yuki would be another story...of course then he'd be Elite Yuuki.

This would work on all accounts except one: Kyon would be a private, and Koizumi would be the Sergeant. That's how the ranking system goes in the Brigade, and it would be funnier if it carried over. Kyon always been the grunt anyway.

I could see Yuki taking the place of Cortana (sp?) though, and them in DOS III color halo armor, even funnier if Haruhi's had a "hairband" and ribbons

Anyway in so far:
1st LT Suzumiya Haruhi - Leader of SOS Squad. Intelligent-ish. Usually gets through everything. (UNSC said that Brigade would confuse -.-)
SGT Itsuki Koizumi (which is his last name so confused ><) - 2IC, slight intel/tactics. Recon.
Corporal Nagato Yuki - Intel/tactics, sharpshooter?
Lance Corporal Asahina Mikuru - Medic. Not much good at anything else.
Prviate First Class "Kyon" - Grunt. Labour. Heavy Weapons specialist.

Squad: Stationed on Spirt of Fire just before Harvest first contact.

PROLOGUE IS UP. GO LOOKSEE, R&R PLEASE COS IT'S BEEN A WHILE SINCE I FF'ED HALO.

But the girl just has so much enthusiasm.

Nuh uh. Not going to happen, I'm trying to keep canon in BOTH worlds here. All races are indoctrinated that humans are filthy animals, I doubt the Elite would return the hug. I could try putting that into a dream sequence though... But I want my action first.

It's going to be slightly canon breaking, unless you want Haruhi and co. to die. lol.
