Wait, so I shouldn't have bothered spoilering myself with the OVA's? I actually enjoyed the OVAs and their direction even though a lot of the story was lost on me so I look forward to this.

Last Exile (the original, not the unfortunate sequel) and Gankutsuou are really exquisite series and well-worth watching. I enjoyed Samurai 7 but in my view both those shows are superior.

I was very disappointed with the ending of Yumekui Merry. There's not much room to screw up with this series though, they just have to keep up the teasing and end on a cliffhanger to encourage the viewers to buy the manga to find out the ending.

Sounds good. It's confirmed to replace Leviathan's slot, I'll give it a try but i'm still doubting about the pacing and the romance though.

I were reading manga for long time, but droped in pure disgust. Then around half year later I randomly decided read one chapter and get immidietely annoyed. Few months later I decided do same and found it didn't improved a bit.

What kind of masochist would I be, if I didn't watch at least first episode?

This isn't exactly a romcom. Well the current chapters of the manga are, but the part the anime is covering is more romantic drama than comedy.

I'm disappointed Hayami Saori and Yuki Aoi aren't reprising their roles as Nanami and Rin respectively. Hayami in particular did a really great job in the OVA.

I just can't get excited for this. It also looks like they're going all the way to the Kazama arc, so this better be 2-cour. I'm worried about the fact the CM focused almost exclusively on the Tokyo characters though...

Well, I feel obligated to watch it so I will. I'm not expecting to enjoy it much past the first few Hiroshima episodes...if they even do them.
