Oh I'm sorry, I'm sure there aren't any other unrealistic things like in the Anime, e.g. Pitching untill he nearly past out or switching from the rigth to the left arm, and so on...

Goro is somewhere around 11 or 12, older than S1

Goro's still throwing with his right arm

Somehow he ends up playing against his old buddies from Mifune

Shimizu turns out to be some sort of mahou shoujo with superpowers

In the middle of the climactic game Eva-01 lands on the middle of the field, Shinki Ikari steps out, calls Goro safe at the plate, then bursts into tears

Taiga from Toradora shows up and acts like the most annoying person in the world

Komori confesses to Goro

Goro signs a contract with Japan's top middle-school that pays him 500,000 yen for every out he records, but he has to pay 1 million yen for every out he gives up

Shin ends up with Hiromi and half the audience is suicidal

Of course, most of that is really just a guess...

yup that exactly what happened

Not going to spoil it for anyone ... but the movie was just that... dramatic O.O. I couldn't keep myself from watching the raw even though i can't understand much Japanese .... but without knowing the language and all I was just in awe

I watched about 20 minutes of the raw, but I finally stopped myself. It was great to see snarky young Goro again - reminded me of how great S1 of Major was.

Oddly enough, I also liked that young Goro, I guess the first season seemed like it was a slower pace compared to the other 4 seasons. The young Goro was also something.

I thought the drama of S1 exceeded any of the other 4 seasons, at least for me. I also really enjoyed the supporting cast - Komori, Shimizu, etc.

One of my Japanese friends really likes S1 the best too, actually.

My personal favorite is S3 so far, I just really enjoyed the drama and the high tension in the final match with Kaidou.

We're working like madman on the movie and hopefully it'll be released at a quick pace so hang in there, don't watch the raw now ^^ the wait will be worth it.

i agree that S1 drama is at the highest but the movie got is share.

I only watched it because I was a little .... tense because I was that curious (as I am sure everyone was) of how and why Goro broke his right arm. I still don't understand it though ^^ and a subbed would be REALLY appreciated. Take your time though when you need it ^^.

Well I haven't watched the whole movie, but I felt it was made pretty clear in S1 that Goro had trashed his shoulder pitching in the Yokohama Little game.

It was clear hahaha, just everything in between from when he went to Fukokou to actually breaking his arm and such (which the movie is explaining)... after all, they just finish up the Yokohama little league and then just drops us in Middle school where Goro begins using his left hand.

It was really nice to see young Goro again and his mom without the perm!

Spoiler:

Thanks to you and your team for all the hard work, Athanor! It was excellent, as usual!

Beautiful bit of animation that was and reminded me just how much I loved S1 like others mentioned before. Not to say the subsequent seasons sucked or anything, but it was never quite what S1 was...ya know?

Ah anyway I enjoyed it immensely and the ending during the credits was indeed classy. Much love for MJN bringing it to all us baseball bakas.

Only sad thing is that this is probably the last we see of Kid Goro - unless they make another "bridge" move when he's 12 or 13 and learning to pitch lefty, but that seems unlikely.

Finally, I claim post 1000 in the name of the world's greatest "Major" fan (me)...
