So I think they can get minors, but they just decided they won't.
I don't know what said movie is about, but movies with children visibly dying in similar ways as Yukari did are usually things you can't pull off easily. Then there is still the possibility of them wanting to show the film in western countries too which would be another reason for not having underage actors.
believe me there IS a rason the children in FO New Vegas are immortal.

I think Another shows a lot more deaths, but in Confessions one teenager kills and dismember another one, all with 13yo actors. Like I said, I don't think it's impossible to cast minors, I think they just don't want the trouble.

By the way, I strongly recommend Confessions, it's an incredible film

So much for the 30 year olds playing teenagers XD I think the screen-captures haven't been to flatering to her yet (could it be the eye patch?) I'm guessing it'll look better in motion.
Deffinetly interested in seeing this ^^

Oh now that you mention it... She really looks like that girl who helped the murderer the whole time.

I think LA Sakakibara is the ugly one when compared to his anime counterpart. Mei's hair should be longer and the eyepatch looks absurd in LA, but the reduction in Sakakibara's cuteness is astronomical.

Sorry; dynamic content not loaded. Reload?

Trailer. IDK...I don't think the girl that play Misaki...she doesn't seem to have that kawaii kinda image from the anime. Since this is a horror drama anyway, I guess that's why they don't want to cast a cute looking actress. But honestly, fangirl aside, I kinda thought AKB48's Maeda Atsuko would be a good Misaki.
1. similar hair style
2. cute face
3. Misaki is pretty emotionless most of the time and Acchan is like a stoic person in real life so their character fit

Here comes the new trailer. I'd rather have a heavy metal instrumental track to go along with that; I'd rather have Dir En Grey ripping up the floorboards.

Looks decent but I'm seeing a lot of deaths that are not the same...yes the music is way too pop like for this. Needs some ali project or something...

Funnily enough, it looks like the live action film will be less realistic than the anime -- there's no way

I watched the movie, it started off okay but after the first death it went downhill. It felt like they ran out of time lets wrap this up quick. I really dislike the cgi they used for the shadow. Still I ended up giving the movie as gift to people for xmas lolz

Also, one of the spectacular deaths were reenacted rather more like it was an old movie cliche.
