You can choose from the two heroines. But from what I hear, Aya's chara is the canon one. Well, that's what I heard.

In this mission, you fight the main pilots from the series teaming with their respective lover: Max/Milia, Michel/Klan, Luca/Nanase, Isamu/Myung, Sylvie/Hibiki, Shin/Sarah, Mylene/Gamlin, Alto/Sheryl.
There are three exceptions, the first two are Ranka and Basara, since they loose in their respective triangle, respectively team with Brera and the little Zolan girl.
The third exceptions is Hikaru who's teaming with Minmay, since Misa is unavailable because she's one of the operator of the game.

You mean Milia/Max right?

I'll take that as confirmation Word of God as they come for Alto/Sheryl and Mylene/Gamlin (though Basara was never "competing" let's be fair

He was probably more attracted to space whales than to Mylene) since it seems pretty planned out.

I can see Hikaru/Minmay as more realistic than any of the other 'second choices' in the Macross triangles (for one, Hikaru was actually into her for a long, long time and she wasn't indifferent like Basara was to Mylene) were the first one (Misa) unavailable. Theirs was probably a balanced triangle.

That probably why the password for this mission was released after the 2nd movie, to somehow avoid spoiling the triangle conclusion.
I expect another one or two password to be released, since I now have a 99% clear rate, and maybe (with a big grain of salt) another secret to be unlocked with a 100% clear rate.

They already "spoiled" this by those set of cards in which Alto was the King and Sheryl was his Queen (with Ranka as the Joker).

As for that mission, if you don't mind my asking, what was everyone flying anyway? I mean some of them I can't imagine flying a Valkyrie with any kind of competence. Some of the pilots don't even seem like they'd be that hard.
