Maybe he didn't talk with Tenri early on telling her about it so in the future she sends him back to the past
But I agree that it might be the old man knocked out

You don't just get "knocked out" from having the entire lower half of your body completely severed. But indeed, it's probably because the grandfather died that everything reset again considering he seems to be a very core factor in all this.

Though I suppose this confirms he can indeed die despite looking so young for an elderly man, there's no immortality involved and such. I guess whatever power was given to him it's more or less something that affects his age.

Also I forgot to mention, what does his son and daughter have to do with any of this warranting Vintage to kill both of them? I suppose it could've been an accident or something but I have my doubts.

For goodness sake, after he goes back to see the goddesses, if he doesn't remember to ask what the goddamn goal of the time hopping is, I'll end up face palming so hard I'll have a horrible bruise. That was probably one of the places where he went wrong; He didn't get a chance to find out what the hell he's doing there; That's the problem with time traveling with no schedule or plan of any kind or even a decent amount information of regarding of the situation; You end up screwing something up.

Is he going back to the beginning or is he going back to a save point? I don't think time travel is that big of a deal last time I did it, I ended up saving some Adolf kid in Germany from being hit by a car. It's not like it really affected anything....

The bad end flag is either

A) Death of the Shiratori household, because they are important due to their connections to the goddesses and devils

or

B) Dokurou had to get violent. Remember the first two tries. Dokurou said how she didn't want to hurt anyone anymore.

He's probably going back to the point where the orb changed from the slashes to the triangles. I'd assume that signifies a "checkpoint"

dokuro berserk remind me of berserk EVA 01...the scene also similar..after being stabbed it goes berserk.."insert cruel angel thesis"

anyway..since keima fail, keima use D-ball to change the past, onwards to divergence beyond 1 %

I don't think it's such a bad end, the vintages were slaughtered to minces, bad guys are dead, it's OK now, no?

Besides, the vintages being slaughtered is what I want to see most

True you can't always stop yourself or others from screwing around with time during time travel sessions but still..a little knowledge of why you're there and maybe a world and devil history textbook+ a book on Keima's city and/or encyclopedia to look over when one is in doubt wouldn't be so bad, would it?

I don't think the old man's granddaughter would be too happy with that ending.

Reading the translated omake surely gives a respite from these recent serious chapters. Somehow, Mars manages to rape someone...with the help of Diana...

Such a story plot is not only ridiculous, it is also morally and ethically unacceptable.
Isn't it common for sheltered characters to be very naughty both on and off screen? I've known a lot of people who came from somewhat sheltered households and ended up being very assertive and rather inappropriate individuals. They can be rather fun!
