At this point, I suspect it's the manga adaption of the movies. Which feels multiply redundant because the movies are an adaption of the series, which also has a manga adaption already.

I think it is a awesome news. I liked his previous adaptations and it is a good chance that the new manga respects the serie.

Edit : I read the first chapter, its focus is Sayaka and Kyoko, Mami also appears but not Homura except in the very first pages. Maybe it'll be a series of separate little stories.
