If Oregon is called, Nevada and Colorado would already be game

This is about to be over.

They will likely not call it until Alaska's polls are closed in about two hours. To draw out the viewership and sponsers even longer.

It was over two hours ago.

I wonder when Hillary will announce her candidacy. 2014?

On another note, am I the only one that finds it strange that beautiful people, who tend to do so well in other aspects of society, seem to have little traction in national politics?

What you hold near and dear?
Since when does this country exist solely for your benefit?

When the congress split our fast-tract to totalitarianism got derailed and that's what I want.

We don't need any more damn gun control, climate change legislation, raids on private diaries, or other tyrannical garbage.
Nor do we need the continuation of the out-of-control spending.
If you love totalitarianism so much, perhaps you should move to China.

Pretty much, tbh I'm surprised at how few people, including americans, seems to understand how the US govt is structured.

So what's Mittens going to do for his concession speech considering he doesn't have one.

In before someone calls you a teabagger. Though I completely agree, and would extend those statements to platform issues of both parties.

Than why even have a government if only deadlock keeps it in check?

Better to have a fuctional government, than an non-working one that soaks up money and gives us "nothing" in return.

Though having one that isn't sliping to tyranny might be good too.

This is the funny thing, there was a recent article about why Canadians want Obama to win. Canadians generally live close to the U.S. border..

A teacher in Vancouver can understand a teacher from Seattle. A banker from Toronto can understand a banker from New York.. None of us understand the "South" -- Religion? Gun Control? Abortion? Stimulus for financial crisis? Public Universal Healthcare? .. To a Canadian .. none of these are issues. It's only natural. Seperation between church and state. Guns SHOULD be controlled. A woman controls her own body. Stimulus is necessary. Healthcare is a universal right.

Obama has won. It is decidedly so

I call for a fund-raising drive for flying^. With the big hit to the pocket he just took, he's going to need all the help he can get to pay his bills this month.

Why are CO and NM democrats in the middle of the republican zone ?
Seen from here, there is nothing that would really distinguish them from their neighbors ?

Is it the latino vote in New Mexico ? (I am afraid my vision of Colorado is based on South Park, so I will refrain from making any theories)

Everyone who gets it put on Fox News right now. It's epic. So much finger pointing.

That's exactly why we allow "non-functional' governments to soak up all that money. Because the alternative to deadlock is totalitarianism. Non-functional is a misnomer. They're functioning exactly as they should.
