oi... Time out Time out! I'm flattered but that was certainly not my idea, it was kinda the usual gif stratagem people use over here. You are giving way too much credits for a silly animation attempt of mine
However, figuring who introduced this "sly" method first is kinda difficult, it isn't much recent. (well at least a year ago)

Oh indeed, indeed. Aside from being able to shift it into animations, I can also foresee using it to get around signature limits a bit. I know you're a moderator, but xris seems to be the #1 signature stickler on staff, perhaps followed by NSW. Suppose your signature breaks the size regulation a bit - what do you do? Break it up! If they click the image to check filesize they'll see the filesize of the part they clicked, and perhaps they will do as I did and perceive it to be one image, rather than multiple images.

As I said, I'm aware that you're a moderator On top of that, by pondering such a violation of the rules I've probably given cause for any moderator to watch my signature more closely from now on. It was just a thought.

Rulebreaking aside, it's a really good method. With my "combat medic" signature I could have used that tactic to have border transparency without sacrificing the main image quality. Really cool. I'll have to experiment with it some time.

You must not underestimate their skills in finding out true signature sizes

Retake09 is disqualified for entering a signature over the size limit and has not corrected it by the due date.

This line thing tag? To make it more clear which sig is which. You only have to copy paste the hr between each signatures Quote this msg if your unfamiliar with this tag.

It's somewhat confusing which sig belongs to who when all put under each other. Of course you can scroll all the way to the top. But meh... Would be nicer if it's clear at first glance
