....probably not. There's less than 10 episodes left.

Also, the arc lengths in this show are very inconsistent, so there's a chance this thing might run for an additional episode or so...

Since Toradora! finally switched OP and ED, here's hoping JC Staff finally did for Index too... masterpiece definitely sounds more cool than PSI-missing although the chorus doesn't exactly do it for me...

New OP!... Why... in the middle of an arc...? (-_-) Incomprehensible...

I thought the anime was planning to end at volume 5, but there were quite a few characters in later volumes that appear... Just for show in the OP (like the flower pair?), or does JC Staff plan to change the timeline? O... Original... *shiver*?

The OP... The beginning half has rather a rather disappointing synchro rate, but the latter half does well. I also like how it shows all (there's a certain guy or two missing... And yet Air Himegami gets a shot...) the characters... I guess the first OP was better overall, un.

AS ALWAYS, for some reason, the OP really tries to make Index seem important...

Impossible...

Preview has... Volume 5's start it seems. Poor Mitsuki... Himegami gets an appearance in the OP but he doesn't.

Finally... has Mikoto's dere time come~?!

Which doesn't really matter for now, but I really wonder how many people didn't realize Angel Fall was Misha after watching the preview of the previous episode... (-_-)

Boring arc-->Really boring arc... JC Staff... You really cut out the worst things...
Okay... We can take out a Dummy... We can take out the best tension in the 4th volume... But there's something wrong with taking out Kanzaki's explained past, isn't there?!

Which is perfectly fine by me, really. That past was really annoying, after all...
But from a outsider's point of view, taking out character development is...

Honestly, I liked psi-missing better. But, its still quite nice and I just love the OP
animation. Apparently, they're going to do until volume 6 since Hyouka and
Sherry was there in the OP animation^^

Oh the next ep---The confrontation between Touma and the Aztec mage. There's
going to be some yummy scenes for Tou/miko-pairing fans.

For who's wondering: there is no new ED in this episode. Only the OP changed.

Quite unexpected, since in Toradora (the other "big" J.C.Staff production of this period) they switched to both OP2 and ED2 in episode 17.

Dammit JC Staff, do you act so unpredictably all the time? =.=

This episode is... crazy. TOO MUCH D.E.M., and worse, they're WEAK D.E.Ms. The scriptwriters must not like Book 4 too much.... even they did a better job with Book 2 and its 3-episode arc...

Spoiler for looks better with tab!: Putting that aside, the episode really was... Unn... boring. Well... Kind of feel bad for some reason, so... It was kind of interesting, this arc was <--Mechanical Well, it wasn't too bad... Let's just say... The Kanzaki part is a fight. That's a good thing. It's been a while, right? Guess what? It barely lasts a few minutes and then we are shown the end of the fight, where the angel easily just disappears. Yay. And what's more, you can't take the fight seriously when Kanzaki is COMPLETELY explaining to the viewers. This has always been an explanation anime, but this episode's explanation lines are so out of place... For one thing, why the hell is she fighting and talking at the same time? More importantly, who the hell is she trying to talk to? Then we get the other side, with Tsuchimikado destroying the Kamijou house. There are just many points to make fun off... -Touma, everyone's favorite idealist who just loves preaching, makes a preach and gets instantly defeated. Really good to see him get beat around a few times. -"Coincidence" Yep, that's how Touya did Angel Falls. Coincidence. In other words, anyone at one day can just cause the world to be destroyed by buying gifts. Right... I need to try that one day. -The end is as emotional as watching SoraMiage. And best? SUPER EXCUSE TIME~! As the author just refuses to kill her characters and coincidentally gives him the power that apparently rewrites the Esper using Magic rule AGAIN which allows him to live. Whoopee~ <--Dead voice Oh, and we have funny explanation time here, as Tsuchimikado explains everything nicely to the viewers (and Touma) as he coughs out blood. Conclusion? The protagonist didn't do anything this arc, did he Conclusion 2? Kanzaki as the heroine doesn't work... Rather, thanks to the cuts JC Staff made, you can't really even consider her a heroine for this arc Conclusion 3? Otohime didn't get appearance time in her real body, damn it... And to top the tragedy off, the ED stays the same. Preview: Mikoto=Heroine, no objections allowed. PS: Touma's face around 6:40=Worth a good laugh --- Oh... and it seems Mitsuki was in the OP...
