Create a Technique Tree
Ok, here's something. Create an original technique or technique tree. Only rules are:
1) technique trees should consist of 5 levels of a similar technique. 2) if you just want to make up 1 technique, try to make it something that is scalable. (e.g. kage bunshin where you can pump as much chakra into it as you want.) 3)provide a quasi-brief description of your techniques. no need to include chakra costs or damages. but if it has a duration please explain that. For examples you can check out the techniques in our rpg. The best one(s) will get included in our next release of the pen and paper Naruto RPG along with your name on the list of contributors. |

I Like this thread, Here's my go
Fire Element DragonBreath Technique: (Katon RyuuBuresu No Jutsu) Creating a Dragon of Fire with then uses his breath to incenerate his opponents. (Times are based on "normal" chakra capacity, Meaning for example Sasuke or Kakashi, not Naruto's Nine Tails Chakra) Level 1: A Dragon is created but it only remains for 10 seconds Level 2: A Dragon is created which remain for 20 seconds. Level 3: A twinheaded dragon is created which remains for 20 seconds Level 4: A twinheaded dragon is created which remains for 40 seconds Level 5: A fourheaded dragon is created which remains for 40 seconds Level 6: A fourheaded dragon is created which remains for 60 seconds Total Mastery: A fiveheaded dragon is formed which can be mantained by the user as long as wished/possible. Notes: Once the dragon is created it moves seperatly from the user and acts sorta like a summon. The user does not have to keep constant contact or give orders. This makes it possible to use in tatcics such as: Use a Kage Bunshin to constrain the opponent and then use this technique to incenarate the opponent. That's all now, Might edit it later. |

How about the Secret Jutsu's of the Sewing Life Ninja Clan... Feel free to make a better name lol 1. The user places his palm to the earth and "grows" a sword made from wood. These would look kinda like you know who's swords but are made from wood instead of you know what (bones). The amount of chakra put in determines the strength, shape and size of the sword. eg. A real pro could grow something that was diamond hard, razor sharp and any size they wanted. 2. The user places both palms to the earth and large, mossy vines grow rapidly from his fingertips to entangle his foe. Again the amount of chakra determines the result. eg. A real pro could make vines strong enough to crush bones, or vines with viciously sharp thorns that secrete venom. 3. The user places his palms to the earth and creates a large wooden, moss covered growth that's as hard as a rock. These vary in size with the amount of chakra used, you can create a strong, sturdy shield that will often be used in conjucntion with the sword created at level one or you could even create large walls and obstacles. This jutsu can be used in many interesting ways, to create a shelter to live in or even to create a raft to cross a large river. 4. Remember that dragon thing that zabuza made (which kakashi copied)... well it's time we saw the same thing but made from... GRASS ! 5. The first hokage's special jutsu where he creates a vast jungle of tree's which he can control to capture his opponent. |

Sword Mastery 1. Sword proficiency a. The Character is proficient in the use of swords (katana's, that big-ass sword Zabuza used) and gets a +1 bonus to their melee skill when using one. 2. Sword Mastery a. The Character has mastered the use of swords, and gets a +2 bonus to their melee skill when using one. b. Mikazuki no Mai [Dance of the Crescent Moon] i. A sword technique, that creates two immaterial replicas (Bunshins) - that together attack in a dance of swords - that confuses the opponent. ii. When using this technique the user gets a +3 bonus to melee instead of +2. iii. Costs 1 CP and lasts 3 turns. 3. a. [Maybe some special sword? Like chakra absorption?] 4. a. Not sure what to pute here. I don't recall much of what Zabuza did. 5. a. Maybe some technique that appears later in the manga? Try to keep it spoiler-free though. I don't read the manga. (So no: this technique is used by him-and-him in chapter 200 or somesuch.) |

this' what would happen if Shikamaru had Ryu's Shinkuu Hadoken. Which would be borrowed by the SFA (Street Fighter Alpha series).
This would be called, Ninpou! HADOKEN! LV 1 - Normal Hadoken LV 2 - *charge up* shoots a laser out (fast visible fireball) LV 3 - *he glows a red color when powering up* shoots two fireballs out LV 4 - *changes from a red to a blue when powering up* able to shoot Hadoken from both of his fists LV 5 - *final charge, glows a light purple* - performs the SHINKUU HADOKEN Attack #2 - Demon Dash Lv 1 - Rushes at the opponent and does a 5 hit combo on the ground Lv 2 - *charges to a green color* rushes at the opponent and does a ground to air combo and slamming them back to the ground LV 3 - *charges from a green to orange color* rushes at his opponent and his fists are glowing blue and does a fist combo LV 4 - *charges from an orange to aqua color* rushes at his opponent and punches the opponent and lifts them in the air and does a super nova dive slamming to the ground* LV 5 - *white light surrounds him* rushes at his opponent and punches them hard and lifts them into the sky and does a Mega punch and kick combo. Ending with a Psymic toss combining it with the Super Nova dive.

These Justus are based on the Element Lightning !
Lvl 1) Lightning Ball the user summons up his chakra to form a ball of lightning, the ball is smaller and more contained than Chidori, the user can also throw this Ball of Lightning The effect on the person who contacts it is a Small Jolt of Electricity followed shortly by Paralisys in the Limb/Portion of body it cam in contact with Lvl 2) Multiple Lightning Balls Same as Lvl 1 but user is able to Create 2 or more Lightning Balls at a time Effects are the Same Lvl 3) Chidori Exact same as Kakashis chidori, I figured id just throw this in to do a Comparison on the Power lvl of the attacks User forms chakra into plam and thursts it at the person, this is mainly used as an Assassination Technique.. Lvl 4) Palm Lightning Users summons a Massive amount of Chakra into his palm creating a "thunder strom" in his hands from there he is able to summon 1 Bolt of lightning at will *note person who recieves this has massive electricity burns as well as paralisys* Lvl 5) Lightning Storm Takes a Massive amount of Chakra, Only a kage or Sennin lvl ninja would be able to use this attack User summons once again massive amounts of chakra, a Thunder Cloud Forms over head and 10-20 Lightning Bolts strike the ground (depending on their abillity to control chakra) anyone struck by a Lightning bolt becomes instantly Paralised if not Killed *note, lightningn strikes randomly, this is a LAST Resort move* -ive actualy thought of the lightning storm one before, for a character i created *edit* when i have more time i will think of/post more. Ok I know i made this contest so this entry wont be considered for the rpg, but here's a technique tree i was thinking of:
Explosion Level 1: Explosive Kunai : The character can charge up (special) kunai with charka so that they explode upon impact. [inspired by gambit] Level 2: Ability to scribe explosive notes. Just like it sounds, the character knows how to make the explosive notes we see all the time in Naruto Level 3: Couldnt come up with a level three... Level 4: Bakuretsu Kage Bunshin The technique used by Itachi.. character can make shadow clones that can explode. Level 5: Self Destruct. Character amasses so much chakra that they explode... fun, huh? Ok there's my sample. I'd really like to see some more peoples ideas. |

Okay, I'll try for another one...
Seal (not cursed ones) Lv. 1 - Opponent loses partial ability to generate chakra for a short time. Lv. 2 - Opponent loses skill levels for a short amount of time (makes it harder to perform checks and dodge/attack). Lv. 3 - Opponents stats are lowered for a short time. Lv. 4 - Opponent cannot perform jutsus (nin, gen, or tai skills) for a short time. If they are used, cost is in HP instead of chakra. Lv. 5 - Opponent loses ability to generate chakra or use any already generated for a short time. |

Shadow Walker Techniques
This jutsu tree is not so much based on attacking as it's
based on utility and support. Shadow Walker Techniques Level 1: Basic Shadow Walk A teleportation technique. One can fade or drop into any shadow cast by an inanimate object that is larger then their own. Then they can reappear in the shadow of another inanimate object that is larger then their shadow. Level 2: Lesser Shadow Walk A more useful version of Basic Shadow Walk. Using this technique the minimum shadow size drops to the size of the user's shadow. Level 3: Living Shadow Walk An advancement from Lesser Shadow Walk. The same as the previous technique except the user can use the shadow of a living being as the entry point for the technique. Level 4: Greater Shadow Walk The same as Living Shadow Walk with the exception of being able to exit from a living being's shadow. Level 5: Master of Shadow Walk The ultimate level of Shadow Walk. Not only can the user enter and exit from any shadow but the minimum size of the shadow necessary for the teleport is reduced to 1/2 the size of the user's shadow. In addition the user can use their own shadow as an entry point. |
